Degeneration was the best movie. A shame Leon was a bit too stiff in it, not as witty as in RE4 though I guess that is a side-effect of his experiences.

Of course they have zombies, but the movie is quickly turning away from the whole "horror survival." It is becoming something resident evil isn't suppose to be. Resident evil was never about "superheros and super powers." Clearly, you're not a real fan of the series (nothing wrong with that) but don't go around saying the games plot and characters are stupid then go and defend these shitty movies that butcher the series and story itself. Regardless of how you feel about the games, the Movies suck ass. There's just way to much emphasis on Alice, who is just plain unlikable. Sure they may be doing their own thing, but that doesn't mean it's good. The first Resident Evil movie was decent, and one of my guilty pleasures. All original characters, followed the main plot of the series, and didn't butcher any of characters fans love; I could like the movie for what it was. Then the downward spiral began with Apocalypse. Wesker was butchered in RE5, so I don't have much hope for him in Resident Evil Afterlife. I mean, he is central to the game universe, and they're just now properly introducing him. And yes, I know he had a cameo in Extinction, and that's all it should have been.

I'm gonna watch this just for the Cameron 3D.

I admit these movies are getting pretty ridiculous, but I'll probably see it anyway. I saw Extinction when I was stoned and it was atleast a good popcorn movie.

1st one was great. 2nd was ok then it went downhill stop making these, Hollywood.

mmh, when I watch these films I just forget they're related to resident evil and just watch it as something new. enjoy it more.

I'm surprised that there are so many movie fans. I figured everyone hated the movies, but I guess if that was so, they would stop making them. Oh well, even though I'm hating on the movie now, I'll wind up seeing it since it has the Resident Evil name on it, then I'll complain how I wasted my time.

Not to mention you have the fans that have painful cunt orgasms over Capcom changing a mildly hilarious excuse for a horror game into something that's actually controllable, has decent pacing, an actual mysterious and interesting storyline thats different from "big bad organisation tries to run the world." which is something i'd expect from a 3rd grader with downs, and is FUN to play and not AGONIZINGLY PAINFUL over the menial tasks which include you changing statues around inside of a police station to open a door with colored keys, because we know every police station is designed like this, with grenade launchers locked in safes all around the fucking place, to doing various other shit no one cares about which does nothing further then to irratate the player and egg him on into thinking any of this is actually going somewhere. Silent hill had a better storyline then this and that thing was fucking PATHETIC.
