"Resident Evil: Afterlife" Official Movie Trailer (In HD) - General

Still trying to figure out how one can defend the series, the first was okay, but had almost nothing to do with the games. The second one was just godawful, all the characters are just... Wrong. They turned Alice into a god damn matrix Mary-Sue and made her do [I]everything.[/I] I remember a scene where Jill tries to blow up a school with a match after they fill it with gas, of course it doesn't work and out of literally thin air, Alice comes and flicks a cigarette and it blows up the school. I won't even start on the third, what a pile of shit that was. The only reason Alice gets so much screentime is because she's literally fucking the director, no joke. He married her because of the first film. I don't get how they could screw it up that badly, the first few RE games are essentially horror films.

It was better in every single way. This movie, along with this series, is absolute fucking garbage. No I'm not a RE fanboy, I honestly have only played the first, 4th and 5th, but even as standalone movies, they're just garbage movies.

The only bad part in Degeneration was the forced relationship between Leon and the task force member, Claire even looked frustrated with him.

The resident evil movies are fucking terrible, they aren't even based off the games there named after anymore hell they bearly were in the first place. The games are pretty bad these days aswell, RE4 was ok they got rip of umbrella and that was a shit move. I thought RE4 explained a few thing from the past pretty well, but the plagas thing was a bit over board. The highlight of that game was showing that Ada wasn't really dead and that leon was still that badass we figured he'd be but other then that it should have been "holy shit, Umbrella has gone underground and black market!" RE5 was about the same as RE4 but did play off the 4th rather well, in the aspect of dumbass parasite thingums. Wesker should have stayed Wesker from RE:CV, because was he not only still that "I'm gonna fuckin' rule this shit" kinda dude but he still had that edge we all grew to really like about his evilness. Going insane over being a clone and try to destroy the world? GTFO and go home, that kinda movie shit is fer da birds....
