Their is an abandon mental asylum around my house I've been to. I plan on going again and will get some pictures, the place is huge.

I checked urbanexplorers.net's forums, is that the one? Can you give us a link? I wanna see if there's anything near me but I looked in a wrong forum.

Here, any places like that just get knocked down and apartments built on the property. It's a shame really.

My city is too nice, there's no abandon buildings that aren't in extremely dangerous industrial conditions :saddowns: Apparently there's a bunch of underground tunnels in Chinatown, though. kinda like catacombs. I think it might be museum-ized, though. Cool pics, though.

I love threads like this. Me and a few friends tried UE a while ago, but there aren't any good places in Glen Burnie that we know of and none of us can afford the stabproof/bulletproof vests we would need to start digging through the abandoned slums of Baltimore. Nor do we have the balls to do so.

Since we didn't get to explore these sites fully I think I might re-visit them and make sure I use my camera to its full potential and also film it with my camcorder, while completely exploring the whole site. Also, as I already said I'm gonna visit some other sites soon. So you guys can expect some more content filled threads by me, perhaps with some better quality vids and pics.

These threads are always awesome. There's an abandoned bar a few miles away, and a school that I think is closed right down the street from it. I'd go there but I'm too much of a pussy and I don't think I'd be able to find anyone that wants to go with me.

Usually someone has made a way in for you already.

Make sure you enter somewhere that you will probably not be seen, and have at least 1 friend with you, though a 3 person group is perfect, because if one of you gets injured there's one to call for help and one to tend to the injured person.

Wasn't the point for the fumes? or was it to hide your face? either way why so have them on while walking around outside?

I did UE a while back with 2 friends. We uncovered some homeless shelter thing that had partially collapsed. For obvious reasons we didn't venture too far inside.

Don't you know, this was the building that was used to hold down people afflicted during the "white blindness" incident. The other asylum burned down.
