Best to just download from Dropbox, then.
Sorry if this has already been asked, but is there currently any way to view subscribed threads?
Subscribed threads? Where on FP do you read these? Do you mean read threads? The API already supports those.
If it's something I've missed I'm happy to add support for it.

Ah okay, I'll add support for that soon. I figure two calls should be enough, getsubscriptionfolders (no args) and getsubscriptionthreads (arg folder ID) or similar.
One thing I'd love to add is "push notifications" where a server operated by an app developer could receive callbacks for thread replies and PMs etc, but I can't think of a secure way to do it. Suggestions for designs are welcome.

I was thinking of doing that as well. What security issues are you talking about?

Tracking which applications should receive callbacks for which users is tricky. Also, it requires code FP side, since polling for these notifications isn't feasible.

You could simply have it check the ticker every ~30 seconds. Also, why not just have the developer specify a few/one PHP page that receives data, and have them worry about who to send it to.

But I do see your point.

No, checking the ticker is expensive. You'd have to do it for every user you have. That's too hard on the servers and would result in you being blocked from the API.
Once I can figure out some way of tracking callback subscriptions, I'll try to work with garry to build something better.
Funnily enough, I was thinking of making an FP monitor app for Android that did basically this. Users logged in and specified threads to watch, and then the data was added to a table on my server. Every 30 seconds, the server would check the ticker, find new posts, and notify any users who are watching the thread.
Fantastic app, only thing ive noticed is the lack of a "popular threads" page.

That was an oversight, I will probably be adding this later.
i hate to bother with another complaint but youtube support and auto correct doesnt work for me. galaxy s2.
Does the app include fp's messaging system? Pm's and such, do they work? If so, where do I find them?
I have trouble editing posts
The reply box is really tiny and doesn't allow auto-correct.
jusr have a question. Does the paid app get updated at all? I dont see it on the market anymore when i search for it and when i go to my apps it says that its still version 1.0r1.3.4

Ok fair enough. Important thing is he got my money.
I see why I wasn't getting updates, I think. Did you remove + republish the app since January 29th?

Yes. It is free on the market now.

I had the APK installed, then installed the Store one.
It'll autoupdate now, yes?
[editline]13th March 2012[/editline]
Apparently I don't have a Store one installed, but instead two not installed.

Just uninstall both and install via the market link.
Green names for mods would be nice.
Any way the old version could be removed entirely so it's not hanging around in my account?

I unpublished it, Google doesn't let you delete apps.
The order of ratings needs fixed.
EDIT: Damn, I didn't even know I posted that
Empty post, something went wrong on your facepunch for android. ;o
Empty posts may be due to having an old version of the app installed.
