Not a lot of people so far have contributed so we're probably looking at a record with around 10 songs so no worries mate  I need the login information to the collab bandcamp though, who made the last album?
I think i will enter with this one.

I start student teaching tomorrow, but if I can around to it I'll finish up the piece I'm currently working on and submit that.
Aight time's passing by and I now have the information, how is everyone doing?
my song is progressing slowly but steadily, should be done before the 17th
Slacking off. Not entirely, I just can't seem to get further than a beat or a melody (for the past two months, anyway). Looking if I can polish up one of my older projects to send in, but I can't make promises at this time. [editline]14th January 2014[/editline] I blame having listening too much rock / hip hop and a lackluster amount of "EDM" music as some call it. Any minimal time for the song?
Which position will my song take on the album? (caynug - when)
Any minimal time for the song?
no limits for song length, except preferably not over half an hour
Damnit. And here I was trying to fill up my last 20 minutes. In more seriousness, I actually did have a song file for this nearly done, I just don't like the direction it has gone at ALL. Maybe y'all disagree though, so I'll just try to finish that. [editline]14th January 2014[/editline] Found most of my annoyances myself, still i'd like some feedback, know if you would like to see it on the cd too. Still have to do the mastering, so i'll be sure to take that into consideration when doing so! [editline]14th January 2014[/editline] Also ahahahaww "super weak", right in the coochie :c

Haha no that's fine Changed it up some more ~ mostly some thresholds on the compressors, split all my wobbles into two (bass and all above), and eq'd that. Updated, link is the same but to spare one click:https://soundcloud.com/datasian/crotchstep [editline]14th January 2014[/editline] Think that'll be the final version, just get the -3dB thing right. I suppose using audacity would do the trick for that?

Think I'll submit this track, it's a fast moving piece with lots of polyrhythms. It's called..."Polyrhythms" Download in the description
Better late than never. Bring some warmth to your winter! Skeeter, I will PM you high-res artwork long with my track.
that has to be the best collab album cover yet
Finished what I feel should be the final draft. If anybody wants feedback on their entry i'll be glad to help.
I was supposed to do something with my song but I can't remember what When is the deadline tomorrow
my song is done now tried to make it sound as boris as possible uploading a normalised .wav so i can send it to skeeter now
sorry if that was a bit harsh, but when im providing feedback i prefer to not sugarcoat my opinion
There's a huge difference between being a jackass and being constructive though, instead of saying "they're super weak" you can add information as to how to make them more powerful. Album will be up later this evening, thanks to everyone who made this possible, you're the best!
Haha I don't mind though man, I mean as far as I can see Hakita is more into metal/rock, so any actual terminology he'd be using is probably slightly different than mine, so this was the best way to bring his point across. And it did help me, even if it was kinda harsh ;). I admire your way of thinking though, more people should look at things this way. Looking forward to the end result!
There's gonna be some delays, internet is horribly rotten where I am currently so maybe tomorrow earliest is this gonna be up, sorry for the delay everyone!
Album is go https://facepunchcollaborative.bandcamp.com/album/facepunch-collaborative-part-10 Enjoy!
aw crap my song is the last one :v:
ill probably check it out later today!
copy-pasted my thoughts that i posted in the thread in GD:
opinions incoming, i'm no professional, but i hope its at least somewhat helpful/interesting: Echo Location A nice opening. Written well and produced in an enjoyable manner. Everything sounds very high quality and sharp, but I would've liked if the distortion guitar had a bit more kick to it and if it had felt a bit more surround-y. Still though, good song. Polyrythmics Typo of polyrhythmics or is it a pun I'm not getting or something? Regardless, the writing is good. Lovely melodies, nice soft production and overall feels well put together. I think this could've been a perfect finishing song for the album, it has that "light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel" feel to it, especially the mid-to-end part. Overall has that 80's prog rock sound to it, when prog rock started fusing more with synthpop. The Devil's Song This is mine so I'm not going to bother reviewing it, but I'm glad it was put after a softer, calm song to really push that contrast. Also, I think I got a sort of Boris-y noise rock style down at least somewhat. Mein Symphony Wants Ze D Fantastic production, feels very clean and very open. Nice subtleties here and there with quieter instruments. I feel it could've changed a bit more, though. It felt like it stayed very similar all the way through, even with the break in the middle. The crescendos also left a bit to be desired, though that might just be because it was after a loud, noisey track. Great track, loved it. Eclipse Very foreboding track, sounds like the music from a Hitman game or something. I like the dirty industrial-like sounds and noises here and there in the song, they fit well with the minimalistic bass melody. Production is top-notch and the writing, although simplistic, is done well. Inquiry Nice IDM song, although I felt it to be a little too disjointed. The drums are great and all the little noises and stuff are good, but the melodies just felt like they came and went and didn't really have any weight to them. I wish it was more structured and longer, but it's far from bad. When (Calm Version) Altough the organ felt a bit overpowering, the production is very nice and easy on the ear. I can't hear the lyrics at all, but honestly it might be better that way, since it feels very dreamy and wavey like this. Great ending for the album, very nice track. would really like to hear other people's thoughts on these as well
Aw, didn't make the cut. No biggie, more motivation to work harder and longer on my music! I'll be sure to give feedback on all your peeps hard work; once I find the time.(Probably over the weekend)
