I ruined the suspense (which would have happened anyway, considering I saw Aliens first), but everything else was thoroughly enjoyable. [editline]11th June 2012[/editline] It's kinda like James Bond; British secret agent kills bad guys, escapes from death traps, and bangs hot women. But knowing this doesn't mean you still shouldn't watch Goldfinger.
Alien is about the suspense leading into the scenes. By watching the "alien bursting" scene before knowing what happened, basically ruins your experience as a whole. At least you accept that you ruined the suspense, but if that doesn't matter to you, then that's fair enough.
I've never seen Blade Runner. I generally enjoy all the Star War's movies with a few exceptions such as JarJar and the ~love story~ I LOVE watching the scene in Toy Story 2 when Woody is getting repaired.
Well I assumed, when I first saw it, that Drag Me To Hell would have terrible reviews, and it would be forgotten very qucikly. But then I found out that it has a 93% score on Rotton Tomatoes http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/drag_me_to_hell/ I cannot be the only person that fucking hated this movie. It was absolutely terrible. I have no idea how anyone can find it entertaining. It's probably why I have never seen anything from the Evil Dead series, everyone says they're really similar in style of horror comedies.
It's only terrible if you didn't like The Evil Dead movies.

It's weird, like [sp]"Luke, I am your father."[/sp], I can't remember an exact moment when I found out, I just always kinda knew.
I have seen forrest gump over 30 times. Every major movie that Tom Hanks stars in is instantly one of my top watched movies. I have seen Saving Private Ryan over 30 times as well.

Oh well.

[editline]12th June 2012[/editline]
I have never watched a movie and not liked it.
you either have low standards, or only watch good movies (which i doubt)
I actually kinda like The Lost World, even after the NC review made me raise too many eyebrows and absolutely hate the characters.
I've never seen any of the Matrix movies. I still watch every movie in the Halloween series at least once a month. I hate LOTR (Yeah, yeah, fuck you too). I think Adam Sandler is a pretty cool guy. I personally can't stand Freddy Krueger.
rotten tomatoes is the worst. it makes no sense. the actual score it got was 7.6 (average rating). the percentage they show mean nothing.
No, the percentage shows what fraction of reviews are generally positive [editline]13th June 2012[/editline]
if you're 12 years old and think a fight is only good if it's perfectly choreographed sure [editline]28th May 2012[/editline] or if you're dumb (these are interchangeable)
yeah that fight scene was so well choreographed it just has to be shit
I saw braindead when i was 8 years old. Mom made spaghetti that day, i couldn't eat a thing. It's also the only movie i'm afraid to watch again.
No, the percentage shows what fraction of reviews are generally positive
which means a movie could have 100% but have a score of 5/10

Drag Me To Hell is an excellent horror comedy. It's funny and hammy on purpose. It's mocking the horror genre while being a genuinely frightning film at the same time. the irony of it is that the only people who thought it was stupid were the ones too stupid to realise it was a comedy. The Evil Dead is what first did this but it was more serious. Evil Dead 2 is the greatest comedy horror of all time and an all time favourite. It's the cult movie of cult movies. If you haven't seen them dont spew such disgusting filth you make me ashamed to be a human
I liked Street Fighter. I'd probably go on to say its the most entertaining Video Game film, though that's not a tough feat.
I liked Street Fighter. I'd probably go on to say its the most entertaining Video Game film, though that's not a tough feat.
I actually got a dvd copy of that. I still firmly believe that Van Damme as Guile is a miscast that will never EVER be topped.
which means a movie could have 100% but have a score of 5/10
Does anyone really consider 50% to be favorable
I actually got a dvd copy of that. I still firmly believe that Van Damme as Guile is a miscast that will never EVER be topped.
you'd just think they'd get you know an american actor to do the american guy
you'd just think they'd get you know an american actor to do the american guy
Rather than the Belgian dude with a French accent.

Dutch that the people in the upper half of Belgium speak. French that the people in lower half speak and German that somewhere near Germany. Van Damme (Who speaks French) is from Brussels Where they speak both.
what does belgium make apart from chocolate and jean claude van damme?
Delicious waffles.
I liked Revenge of the Nerds A lot. Also I can't stand Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Loved Clerks, though.
