Do TV related confessions count too?
Because in that case, I actually watched Sabrina the Teenage Witch when I was younger. But really only because of Salem.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch was a fucking awesome show, also my fat black cat is called Salem and the other is called Sabrina
Its extremely hard for me to watch old movies made before the 80's. The production quality is just so outdated that I can't enjoy movies like Tora Tora Tora or Patton without thinking how corny the editing and effects are compared to today.
My biggest gripe with older films is the acting. All the actors are so very aware of themselves, it's more like watching a play where they have to clearly and firmly announce everything.
[editline]2nd May 2012[/editline]
Also the soundtracks are usually poorly done and are way over the top.
I actually enjoyed Jumper, just because I love the concept of teleportation.
And I think Hayden Christensen did better in it than he did in Star Wars.
i liked Hurt Locker alot

Salem was like, the best thing about that show. If anybody wants to have a few laughs, search youtube for 'the best of salem saberhagen'.
Normally I'd say his crying or the way he shouts the word no was the best but I'd say one of his shining moment is 5:57 - 7:40 in this video.

I enjoyed Jack and Jill, it's one of my favourite films.
Nope, can't keep a straight face.
American Graffiti is my favourite film of all time, more than The Godfather.
taxi driver feels overrated to me
I enjoyed the Transformers (2007), and the sequel to some extent. I watched them purely for big flashy explosions and robots beating the shit out've eachother, and they delivered in that regard.
I only saw the Shawshank Redemption, Rocky, and a few others a year or so ago.
I really love the 2005 King Kong movie, and I've watched How To Train Your Dragon an unnecessary amount of times.
Office Space is my favorite movie ever.

i saw the first michael bay transformers in a theater full of cheering transformers fans, it was a really fun experience and probably made me enjoy it more than i should have.
I cried at the end of 1984.
And Fox and Hound.
I cry in pretty much every movie that's slightly sad
never seen any star wars movies, they all look like boring shit.

Here come the boxes:
I just don't get why they're popular.

It's every sci-fi nerd's wet dream.
Plus kids love laser swords.
I watched The Hurt Locker while I was in London (along with Moon) before all the hype and I thought it wasn't that special. Enjoyed Moon a lot more.
I haven't seen captain america.
I haven't seen captain america.
it's only worth a watch if you like a movie's atmosphere and overall style more than the plot, and if you dont care about 80% of the movie being just filler
thor is worth a watch though
very 80s-ish plot, nothing too special but pretty enjoyable
Captain America was an Indiana Jones film's illegitimate child.
It had great stuff going for it, but kinda fell through.
Cap, imo, was exactly what I wanted.
Take Indiana Jones, cross it with the Rocketeer, and set it in the Marvel Universe.
Thor was great too, much better than I expected.
The one thing I didn't like about the CA movie was how un-superhero-y he was.
He spent most of the movie using a gun, hiding behind his shield and stealthily taking down bad guys one at a time. It's like he had all the powers of John McClain.
But it's a superhero movie. I just wanted him to beat up 10 guys at once and do something awesome.
The complete opposite of Thor. When Thor had power there was never any competition, he just killed everything and everyone.
They did a good job of balancing the powers out in The Avengers though.

I haven't gone a week since 1994 without watching Jurassic Park once a week

I believe.
I haven't seen any of those "cult movies" people make references to every damn second.
I found the first Paranormal Activity film funnier than it was scary.
The Godfather series is a bit overrated for me, but of the three, the last one was the best imo.
I nearly cried at the end of Toy Story 3.
I liked all the Matrix films.
[sp]I found LOTR a bit too cliché and the plot really predictable. I still don't understand why it's touted by lots of people as a great film when the only thing I thought truly commendable about it was the extensive visual effects. Well to be honest, I'm not that much of a fan of fantasy epics anyway. Boxes inbound.[/sp]

I also think Lord of the Rings is one of the most overrated series. Totally boring. I'm not into the fantasy genre though so it wasn't my cup of tea to begin with.

For me the universe the movie(and the books) paint is the reason I love them.

talking about lotr
Start with "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". You won't regret it.
I'd put TBL before RHPS. Nothing personal, I just feel it's more important in the line of cult movies everyone has to see.
I...
I didn't love The Avengers.
It was pretty good for a comic book movie, but compared to other films, I guess it was okay.
