"Buy gold" "Buy boost" being able to purchase guns/armor with irl money instead of a huge amount of cash no thanks, going to avoid the shit out of this pay to win grindfest
You won't have much trouble with that considering it's only being released in russia but w/e
I'm so divided when it comes to this; one part of me wants to diss the shit out of this and start sending angry letters to 343 asking why they just wouldn't give us a normal Halo game instead of this P2W garbage while the other part of me is a bit curious as to how HO will play.

The game will include special packages and abilities: fighting, safety and support. The system is similar to the perks Call of Duty. Characters have levels Maps are designed specifically for Halo Online, while designed for 16 people. During the entrance to the card players get a job: to kill the head, jump 10 times, and so. On the map you can find different weapons: Bazooka example, which replaces the pistol slot. During the spawn, you can change the class and weapons Saber Interactive engaged in the development The game is focused on Russia and the CIS, is not excluded release in Europe For classes have 5 slots. Two is available immediately, and the rest are opened as pumping On the maps, there are two so-called powerfull-arms on the map: grenade, for example Weapons are purchased at a time, all armor The game has a lobby system, where you can gather with friends and fight with them The game runs on a reworked engine of Halo 3 When the gun lying on the floor, it has an aura: green – accuracy, red – Done. This is done to ensure that the player is not standing and reading characteristics of the weapons – which is better or worse Each piece of armor has its own parameters: speed of movement on the shoes or gloves at the rate of recharge The plot and PVE mission has not been considered
Not confident about how this will play out at all.
Not confident about how this will play out at all.
Judging by all that its pretty much just another generic f2p p2w fps but with the halo license slapped on to grab attention trash
They took halo 3 and ruined it, good job
They took halo 3 and ruined it, good job
Ruined it how? It's still out there, playable for everyone.
You won't have much trouble with that considering it's only being released in russia but w/e
might make its way to the states at some point.
They took halo 3 and ruined it, good job
I'm not sure how this ruined Halo 3. Halo 3 still exists, you can go play it.
I'm not sure how this ruined Halo 3. Halo 3 still exists, you can go play it.
Wow thanks I had no idea What I meant and what seems to go over some peoples head is that they took a great balanced shooter like halo 3 and crammed it full of garbage
Doesn't the whole different stated weapons and builds completely detract from the arcadey nature of Halo?
Seriously. Why wouldnt they just have ported something like Halo 3 to steam. It would make so much money. This is even on the fucking halo 3 engine. jesus MICROSOFT DONT YOU WANT OUR MONEY?
Doesn't the whole different stated weapons and builds completely detract from the arcadey nature of Halo?
Yep But at the same time it's gonna be interesting to see what's basically every game's iteration of each weapon stacked against each other in the same game. Plus the mauler's back plus the spike grenade's back plus turf plus guardian It looks interesting but not necessarily good. At least not when power creep sets in and people start unlocking the heavy shit.
Also some of the weapons have variants that have higher stats than all of the other versions combined.
This really is a rampant case of 343 and Microsoft not understanding their audience and fanbase whatsoever. Sure, Saber Interactive is doing it, but they don't have the best track record themselves. It's like, "Man, the PC gamers really clamor for Halo but they aren't buying Xbox Ones, how do we fix this? Oh, I know- they must love free-to-play online games! .. okay, in hindsight this was kind of dumb, let's put it in Russia and see how many people VPN to see if they really do want this."
nice, now instead of tea bagging you "squat" on your opponent.
What's more, it seems like Halo 4 plastered ontop of Halo 3 in the most bizarre way possible, like they used its base gameplay and then put 4's stuff in awkwardly everywhere, assets especially. I don't get quite why.
They took halo 3 and ruined it, good job
They didn't do anything of the sort. They used the Halo 3 version of the Blam engine.
I find it weird that they used 3 and not Reach which is arguably better because of the more optimized net code. Unless they ported the Reach engine then moved halo 3 onto it.
I find it weird that they used 3 and not Reach which is arguably better because of the more optimized net code. Unless they ported the Reach engine then moved halo 3 onto it.
Halo 3 has already been ported to a platform with a PC-like architecture. (Xbox One)
Ruined it how? It's still out there, playable for everyone.
1. Playable doesn't mean good - I get we can't judge it but every new mechanic introduced completely contradicts what made people love Halo 2. Not everyone is Russian
I'd rather halo 3 was completely forgotten and died off instead of this incredibly bullshit pay2win
1. Playable doesn't mean good - I get we can't judge it but every new mechanic introduced completely contradicts what made people love Halo 2. Not everyone is Russian
If you want to play Halo GET AN XBOX
Why does everything need a shitty P2W F2P version nowadays?
1. Playable doesn't mean good - I get we can't judge it but every new mechanic introduced completely contradicts what made people love Halo 2. Not everyone is Russian
He is referring to halo 3, not this game.
Why does everything need a shitty P2W F2P version nowadays?
Trying to cash in on the success of good F2P games like LoL, Dota 2 etc without any comprehension of why they are successful.
What? Why in the actual fuck does this game of all the games get a Turf remake? I'd have killed for Turf, Headlong, or Terminal to replace some of the more generic maps that H2:A got. Also, in regards to this game, I think a better compromise would be to have people buy access to maps (gameplay changing content that doesn't discriminate against people who don't buy) and cosmetic armor types. (Maybe you could also charge for custom game access and options, temporary XP boosts, matchmaking playlists, etc as well). Of course, we all know they want to appeal to whales and make people buy the ingame items for advantages and all, but well.... a guy can dream, right? :v:
Gameplay in some parts of the trailer looks clunky.
If you want to play Halo GET AN XBOX
I have an Xbox but I'd like a playable Halo on PC though.
oh god I sense grinding
...and for once in a Halo game, grinding doesn't mean another Spartan grinding his crotch on your face by tea bagging you after you die.
He is referring to halo 3, not this game.
Eh, I though the guy he was responding to was saying the new game is 'just Halo 3 but ruined' and the other guy was defending the game. I see why people are responding the way they are now... :suicide:
This will do very poorly and then Microsoft will be like "Yep they obviously don't want Halo on the PC"
