I really don't think games are sexist in the slightest, i just think it's simple economics.
Look at MGS5 and Quiet the sniper, Kojima knows sex sells, hell he EXPLICITLY said she was dressed the way she was so the game (and figurines) would sell, yeah yeah there's a reason whatever, point is the "sex sells" reason came first because he knows it sells, and he knows sites were probably gonna comment on it extra hard, therefore bringing more attention and with that more revenue in the long haul.
Hell, i know people that got interested in MGS5 because of Quiet, so there's that.
I seriously doubt developers are sexist, they just know the target demographic (young males; adolescent) alongside the fact that people like tits and ass (and it sells).
is feminism another word for...
1984!?!?!?!?
As in Orwellian newspeak it completely is. It constantly changes the definition of oppression in order to facilitate a continuous relevance in society and provide money/influence for those who advocate it.
There is no respectable political party, ideology, lifestyle, religion or individual that today advocates oppression of women, both the left and right agree women should make the same wage for same job, have the same rights, freedom and same possibilities as men and all that implies. So the definition of oppression of women has changed to what is today called Microaggression. For example using "him" instead of "her" when you don't know the gender and assume the gender is male is today called oppression of women, stating a fact that women when have the freedom to choose their occupation tend to study fields that are social instead of mathematical is also considered oppression of women as it's a sexist fact.

people that complain about quiet obviously havent played the MGS, where Kojima makes sure that men have the best rendered asses possible with skin tight suits.

look at that, they purposefully made the belt straps wrap around his junk to make it pop more.

Not to go off topic too much but the reason why they were complaining about the almost naked sniper was exactly because she was an almost naked sniper, again i get that, but that is the definition of judging a book by it's cover and it's just dumb as shit when people try to argue "dur a snipar doesnt dress liek taht in real lief" like i saw fucking developers, people who you would think are smarter than the average feminist argue.
It's a videogame people, it ain't meant to be realistic.
the nice lady called me smart :)

Is that really in the game? MGS never fails to surprise me.
Pointing out that a certain line of criticism is a flaky front for an agenda =/= anti-criticism.
Yes it is, because its showing that you think the criticism is terrible and therefore you are against it, therefore its anti-criticism
this video was produced by a right-wing think tank but I didn't disagree with anything I'm so confused send help

Wait. What you're saying is that if I am critical of someone's criticism, then I am anti-criticism? I don't think so, pal.

If you criticize criticism, then you are, by definition, anti-criticism.
Its not a complicated concept, even a baby could understand it.

If you fail to see the meta humor and absurdity of criticizing someone with a label such as "anti-critic" for criticizing what they view as unwarranted criticism, then you are a robotic anti-critic-critic.
