Woah, Vray 2.0 added bloom and lens effects. Fuck yes. And those dispersion effects are sexy.
Made a nifty little revolver.
I used this as a reference:

and got this:

After I finish up modeling I'll try to add some details like scratches and stuff with zbrush.
If anyone has knowledge of any good tutorials on that subject I'd like to know of them too.
That looks really cool
The trigger will cut your finger off
Hmm so it would seem. Fixed it.
Woah, very well done !

5,134 polys
modeled in about 4 hours, 2 in a half hours texturing
modeled in 3ds max
it still needs a lot of work in model and texture.
I plan on doing more "medieval fantasy" creatures in the future :D
The body has no definition at all
You should zbrush the shit out of it

And the trigger guard.

Also the trigger is still not final, looks kinda odd to me.
I'd make the trigger guard still wider and a bit thinner. See http://picturearchive.auctionarms.com/1888181912/9799659/0719a23b6bbad54cd31546d6fd07ade5.jpg

So, being a little disappointed that unreal engine doesn't have a nice dynamic snow shader like crysis does i made my own.
It also takes the normal maps into account and all that good shit, so rocks look really nice. :3:
Also when you rotate the object, snow stays on top.
I guess you could say "nVidia came all over these rocks"
I guess you could say "nVidia came all over these rocks"
Well, that's what i was originally doing, a cum shader but then i thought "Hey this looks kinda like snow or something" so i made it look like snow.
Maybe add some very slight bends to the wood?
It seems too perfect.

There, i assume you know how to open up packages in udk, if not simply click the "open" button in the lower left corner inside the content browser.

Having fun going about a refresh of my old arab city buildings. Adding interiors and updating the exteriors. This is still a work in progress, I don't have any furniture yet and haven't modified the exterior much yet.
The interior reminds me of that one css map, cs_italy I think

Why did you screencap a render? Wouldn't it be better to just save it?
