Well, I think you may have to redo the textures then, because it really doesn't looks very good atm.

I don't think chamfered means cut with a laser when it comes to bunkers.
It's a shame, it was really starting to shape up.

It's not like it's a sculpture, he can fix it.
It's not like it's a sculpture, he can fix it.
You can fix a sculpture too, a virtual one :v:
Well guys it seems to be near impossible to attach all the objects in my scene. I exploded the 1.2 million polygon scene and then attempted to attach all the objects together through the attach menu and it just locked the program out. I let it run all night but it's still locked out. This means I will not be able to have textured proxies :(
Sorry to hear that Ajacks. :saddowns:
Why don't we have an 'Awwww' icon?

Mockery? in my digital 3d art thread?
I wish I had the patience to make something look good, nevermind make something that looks good for the sole purpose of a witty post :(

Yes, that was a good event.
Should I bother learning Maya if I don't plan on working for a movie studio?

Yes? Maya is good not only for movies. I use it to make game models all the time.
I read that 3dsmax is the standard for game studios.

You're not Ajacks, I am Ajacks. See, look to the left, you see my avatar? Now look back at me, I'm on a horse.
I'm having one bitch of a situation trying to tile my 1.2mil poly city a few times, I tried proxies which worked like a charm besides being untextured...and now I'm messing with xref objects but I'm a bit lost.

I missed that, where can I find it?

You read wrong. Quite a lot of studios use maya for games. It's a choice, they both do the same. I used both and I can't really tell how max would be better than maya for game modeling.

I've seen a trend towards maya.
And I think max was better or something because how you saw the texture in the view port is how it would show up in game or something.
