i liked it when all that there was was tea pot renders.
problem solved?
Maybe the last two pages should just "disappear"... Anyway, a little turntable of Birdman: Zbrush's retopology tool removed a lot of the finer details I had sculpted. So the general anatomy may seem a little off. Lesson learned: Retopology before doing finer details! But I'm really happy with the new GoZ feature. Works like a charm! Also, normal/displacement map a now way easier to do in Zbrush. No more flipping UV's, fixing seams in Photoshop etc. :)
post more teapot renders
post more teapot renders
They shouldn't have killed the first thread. That one was stuffed with teapots! ;)

Also it is not finished(the safety part) [editline]18th February 2011[/editline] Also the bottom part is not finished either
everybody's getting trolled pretty hard by saxor
post more teapot renders
Alrighty then: I made it in sketchup because I couldn't bother loading anything else up :smug: I also didn't let it finish raytracing because it was fucking with the processor and lagging everything up, and finally to add to all this mess it didn't come out with the dimensions I wanted it to but oh well you asked for teapots not for works of art.

Wow that grass is gorgeous. How do you make it?
Haven't had much time to do a render till now, so I did another X3CC shot.
Wow that grass is gorgeous. How do you make it?
it looks like hair and fur
Hey hey, don't steal the douche title from me.
You're supposed to be a douche? I didn't even know that, lol.

But the car seems to stick out (a bit sharp and flawless) and looks kind of satin/rubberish (maybe find a panorama of a desert for some reflection perhaps.)

Car looks to clean, needs more dirt covering it.
Car looks to clean, needs more dirt covering it.
That too.
Holy shit hayate, your car modelling is perfect. Rendering is really good too. edit:
wow guys chill crit please [img_thumb]http://gyazo.com/b179b3b47aed321b7faebdaefb31ace7.png[/img_thumb] inb4 too many polies, consider the year is 2011 and not 2004. Also, are you going to texture it ?
I'm sure he's gonna texture it.. with stock textures maybe.
Been working on getting condense on the friggin Coca Cola bottle, will post the render tomorrow.
Also, are you going to texture it ?
I hope i will in the near future. i am so bored right now :(
I think my Bokeh DOF is way to un-natural though... Gonna post it anyway.. Right now, it looks like my condense is shiny as fuck.. WOHO!! all six cores running at full throtle!
woo 2nd place with my church.
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/cola.png[/img_thumb] Just finished my cola bottle, originally speed modeling, but since I wasn't there during class, I spent about 1-2 hours on it.. Didn't bother to do the cap, so just ignore it...
Maybe it should look more like this: (not my model nor render)
This is the kind of cola bottle we've got in Norway, which I'm modeling: http://www.cocacolaclub.no/market/T008.jpg But DAMN that render looks photorealistic as hell, but sadly the label gives it away :( WOHO!! 9.7% completed. Also, I fixed the cap, and added condense :P [editline]19th February 2011[/editline] Aaaaand, I canceled it.. [editline]19th February 2011[/editline] Aaaand, now I started the render again.. Going to bed now C'ya guys
But DAMN that render looks photorealistic as hell, but sadly the label gives it away :(
Agreed. Put a really slight bump map on the label, make it like it would look when you squeezed and twisted it a bit.
As I said before I didn't make the scene. But here is something I tried: Just playing around with water and some bubbles.
That's basically oil or some other thick substance. That is exactly what it looks like. Just because you rate me disagree doesn't make the truth any different. Maybe if the bubbles were coming from the straw and not magically suspended in the oil or soap it would look more like water. Not to mention the way the bubbles are spread out. Water does not work that way. Is there any way I can make some kind of dynamic texture that is white nearby and goes black? Like some kind of depth map..
Use falloff.
