[HD]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HY3lJ-zOn1g[/HD] Has a few simulation errors, but it looks pretty good. :allears:
You made me want chocolate :( [editline]07:48PM[/editline]
Just overclocked my i7 920 to 4GHz, and to celebrate that I am now simulating this in RealFlow: 600K+ particles.
Mary mother of god... /gibbs.

How would I wrap a metal binding to hold 3 cylinders together? as in that model. I want those two smaller ones to be tied to the tank.
I would use splines.
I tried it, but I'm not sure how to get the shape right.
Cannot unsee. :psyduck:
What, you never noticed that it was a stone?
Hello everyone, I've come here with a request. I'm working on a mod for Call of Duty - World at War. More specific a mod for the zombie gamemode. I'm making a huge city in codradiant but the problem is. My map setting uses today's era. Therefor i have implanted COD4 weapons in my mod ect. But since COD5 is in the WW2 era most of the props don't really feel right good in my map therefor i came here to ask if anyone is willing to model a simple prop for me. Basically i need construction lights on a stand and loose on the floor like this : I hope someone is willing to make these!
What, you never noticed that it was a stone?
No, it didn't look like a stone for me, before Ajacks said it does.
No, it didn't look like a stone for me, before Ajacks said it does.
I see, because I was thinking as to why would you pour chocolate on stones lol
I made it stone with my thoughts.
Tried again with splines, I guess it turned out okay. [editline]04:45PM[/editline] How would you go about making it look like two pipes were welded together?
I see, because I was thinking as to why would you pour chocolate on stones lol
Oh well, the main focus of this for me was to mess around with realflow anyways.
Kylbalt how did you get that band to wrap around the pipe like that?
Welds usually look like this:
kylbalt how did you get that band to wrap around the pipe like that?
i think he used splines

Loving that old dude from Up.
does anyone know why my chamfer doesn't work? Instead of rounding off an edge it flattens it out and just adds a ridiculous amount of vertices
does anyone know why my chamfer doesn't work? Instead of rounding off an edge it flattens it out and just adds a ridiculous amount of vertices
Pics please
It rounds off one edge, then it just flattens out
Kylbalt how did you get that band to wrap around the pipe like that?
Splines. [editline]09:38PM[/editline]
Welds usually look like this:
How do I get that effect in max though?
