okay [editline]01:23AM[/editline] I love C4D because of the easy interface, and the only bad thing about it is that 11.5 doesn't have vray and it doesn't have that many tuts [editline]01:30AM[/editline] My graphic card's drivers crashed and it made c4d crash, so i will have to make it all over again :saddowns:
and the only bad thing about it is that 11.5 doesn't have vray
Eh, there is Vray for Cinema 4D (R 11.5 included). http://shop.vrayforc4d.com/
Oh, and if you're going for a wooden table there, I think you should drop the reflection a lot or completely, it doesn't look very realistic.
Nop, if the wood is covered in "oil"(forgot how it's called in english) then it will be very reflective. My old table was like that, until it got very scratched.
I can't find a trial :saddowns:
http://www.vrayforc4d.com/ Trials are at the 'Try Vray' page. http://vrayc4d.com/manual/ Here's a manual so you can learn it.
Second beta test of my project : Updated : Updated in the video: Improved the animation of some objects Added good materials to the scrap metal house Added a terrain with some random grass texture (place holder texture) Motion Blur per object Depth of Field AO Normalmaps and bumpmaps to some textures HDRi Irradiance Isn't finished yet..
Bumps/normals look too strong.
i dunno. Final render, probably. No longer in "a quality street tin". [editline]03:21PM[/editline] Final render this time.
I wasn't going to say anything, though my OCD kicked in. The part of your usb connector with the metallic strips ends at the middle part, your's is a little short.
Lacquer, it's a finish used on wood. It makes the wood shiney.
Yes that, it's called lak in russian. Thanks
And lack in swedish [editline]03:26AM[/editline]
Bumps/normals look too strong.
Yeah :/ Forgot to set it to 30 instead of 120 (actual)...
I haven't checked this thread in a while. You guys have been making some pretty neat stuff! My computer broke down and I'm getting a new one soon; I cannot wait to start modelling on it. [editline]03:38AM[/editline] Also that render of dai's avatar makes me want it inside little big planet.

[img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/79/Type_A_USB_connector.jpg[/img_thumb]
Noted, but I'm done with that model. I don't feel like tweaking it more and more just to fix some minor stuff.
That's nice. You're the 3rd person I know to use C4D in this thread, including me. Welcome to the club. [editline]12:02AM[/editline] Oh, and if you're going for a wooden table there, I think you should drop the reflection a lot or completely, it doesn't look very realistic.
I use c4d too, I don't like 3ds max
Tried some hdr in C4D. What do you think?
If you use HDR you can actually turn C4D halfway unbiased, the cool thing about the C4D raytracer is that it is hilariously, awesomely fast. It just doesn't work well without HDR because of the dumb, pointless limit on material emissiveness.
If only i could export from Project 64, 1964 you cant even see Banjo Tooie world textures its just white :/ 10 points if you can guess who it is :\

It took a total of 5 minutes to make, most of the time was getting the specular right.

[editline]07:26PM[/editline] I do a lot of CGI effects in it, not a lot of modeling, hence me not posting any models in here.
