Got a full resolution one btw?
Click on the image. Or do you mean the actual HDRi-file?
First, has it been like that lately or was it doing that from the very beginning? If it was doing that from the beginning, do you own a license? If it was pirated, chances are you got the bad crack.
A bad crack? how would a bad crack change anything in the software? The only reason i could get sloggy over time is hardware. @jeggis, the image doesnt link anywhere
@jeggis, the image doesnt link anywhere
Strange. Works fine here. Full-res version!
oh yeah, oops i meant the HDRI
oh yeah, oops i meant the HDRI
Ah! I will upload the file today/tonight, as soon as my webhost "unparks" my domain. ;)
Just rendered some game-props, thought I'd post it since it's been a while, even though they suck. The glass is weird, I know, but it's for source so...
A bad crack? how would a bad crack change anything in the software? The only reason i could get sloggy over time is hardware.
I meant if it was acting slow from the very beginning.
Still, cracks dont alter the programme, just "unlocks" it Anyways, found out my teacher uses cinema 4d :v:
Still, cracks dont alter the programme, just "unlocks" it Anyways, found out my teacher uses cinema 4d :v:
You have no idea what you're talking about. Crack alters files of that particular program and if the cracker did a bad job it can impact performance or other factors a damn lot. Read up, first cracks for vray had problems such as LONG render times, changing brightness and shaky cam. All that because of a bad crack
At what post will this thread lock, 5000?

[img_thumb]http://blackmamba.se/lamppost.jpg[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://blackmamba.se/rake.jpg[/img_thumb]
Love the street lamp, but the rake is pretty shit. It's blocky, lacks detail, and the grain of the wood appears to be going the wrong way. [editline]14th October 2010[/editline] Post 5000. I think it's something like page 126.
what do apartment building usually have on the bottomest floor anyway
The bottom looks too empty, gonna add something like dumpsters and that?
im thinking maybe some advertising posters maybe? also another render, this time with double balconies in front
I liked the second one best, since its realistic that buildings are symmetrical.
I liked the second one best, since its realistic that buildings are symmetrical.
That's in no way realistic. Many buildings are asymmetrical.
That's in no way realistic. Many buildings are asymmetrical.
Artistic buildings are, not blocks.
Artistic buildings lol
I've never been really comfortable with people going "Hurr its blocky" with anything.
I've never been really comfortable with people going "Hurr its blocky" with anything.
I think he meant block style buildings.
Cumsprite v_1 reference: http://oglaf.com/cumsprite/2/ i dont usually do characters, i guess this is my first try.

Now shaddup about the warez [editline]14th October 2010[/editline]
Artistic buildings lol
Unless you're lookin' at cookie cutter houses in suburbs or old run down apartment complexes in the city, all architecture is a work of art to some degree. If you design a building that can't be considered 'artistic' from any design aspect, get out of the business.
If someone makes a key for a door, it doesn't give the door squeaky hinges.
That's because door is not a piece of software. But if you tried to break the lock so your key fits and you accidentally break the hinge, it will.
That's because door is not a piece of software. But if you tried to break the lock so your key fits and you accidentally break the hinge, it will.
You still dont get it, and didnt read Dai's second line, the part with shaddup about warez. you dont have to break the "lock" for a crack to work, its like making a totally new door right next to it that is yours, you loop around the security. Just realized how badly that cumsprite is optimized for rigging. Gnight
Ok fine, badly edited executable or dll can't be the cause of slowdown :downs:
First low poly 3D model CC please! Thanks!
that looks pretty cool. the texture seems pretty low res though on the render, and id love to see how stretched the unwrap is, it looks bad around the legs. other then that, id really love to see that texture look as sharp on the render as it looks on that unwrap thingy.

Luckily the texture is originally a vector drawing so I should be able to get the resolution petty high. I'll have a play around tweeking a few things.

Greeneyes, you may want to consider working with vertex colours.
