There's plenty wrong with hip-hop right now and that goes all the way up to its place in musical perception, else people like Lupe Fiasco, Frank Ocean and Tyler would be making a fuck load more money than they are right now comparative to other artists.
Can't use him as a barometer? Everyone is using him as a barometer, whether you approve or not is pretty irrelevant.

No one cares, and secondly he didn't invent shit. For someone claiming to know all things musical your ignorance and constant sperging does nothing but you look loudmouthed and foolish.

You can't use Yeezus as a barometer because one release does not define a entire year's worth of content in such a varied genre.
Your disgruntlement should be aimed more at the industry than the genre.
Can we discuss the parody video and not turn this into a discussion on if you like Kanye or not because absolutely nobody cares I don't see how you guys make issues out of things so quickly

You realize you're on Facepunch, right? All it takes is one buzzword.

So if there was a video that had an actor from Big Bang Theory, the buzzword would be "Bazinga?"
