Or a bunch of slaves building them slowly over hundreds of years to be used as tombs for Pharaohs which they saw as gods?

When the world was going to end in 2008, half of the school went to McDonalds during the break. When the moment passed, everyone was for a second silent but then everybody was like "Meh" and continued eating.

If anything bad happens in 2012, I can say that the worst case scenario would be some kind of natural disaster that does not include some meteor crashing into earth.
