Brace Yourselves - Yogi Bear CGI/Live Action Movie This Winter

I can't say I didn't smile a couple of times during the trailer.
It doesn't look like it's going to kill it too bad in my opinion.
IMO, there has been only one good Hanna Barbara movie adaptation:

Love it or hate it, it is one of my favorite movies with one hell of a soundtrack.
Looks alright, nothing amazing. The humor is still like the old cartoons though, which is a good thing.
Agreed.
I thought by "live action" it meant "PLAYED BY ACTUAL FUCKING BEARS AND ALL THE DIALOGUE IS ROARING AND SHIT BUT WITH SUBTITLES"
That would've excused the abominable travesty that this is sure to be.
After reading that bears with ties popped in my head. Fucking lol'd

Why was Rosie O'Donnell Betty?
Didn't they already ruin Scooby Doo?
Next year! Live action CGI Tom and Jerry!
See them brutally maim each other in eye popping muthafucken 3D!

Don't forget that they're also make a Smurfs movie.

probably would need to use cgi for the dog. Though they're going to have to find a token black guy. The jetsons never had a black character.
oh come on what the fuck
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800096/
Holy shit I was kidding.
The Jetsons wouldn't work very well as a movie in any way, shape, or form nowadays. Not only does it take place in a year that already happened, but in retrospect the world today is more technologically advanced than that of the Jetsons, even though it may not look as sleek or as alien.
You know a lot of those in-development movies are fake/rumors/not really started yet, right?
Oh my God...
I'd seen a small display at my theater for this movie, looked at the poor CG, and figured it HAD to be an animated film, because the stills used on the display were not only completely in the uncanny valley, they were CREEPY.
This trailer...my lord, everything from the shitty models to the voices, it just sucks. And the premise? WHAT premise?? The Goddamn CHIPMUNKS had more cinematic potential than this!
This is sad, this is TRAGICALLY sad...and so unnecessary...
Oh jesus christ what
What the fuck.
i never watched yogi bear but DAMN

That movie was awesome.
I think that people need to notice that TV to Movie cartoon adaptations only works when its not live action. I mean, look at the Simpsons Movie. All animation and its still awesome.
It's going to be fucking slaughtered, but that's ok because Yogi Bear wasn't that big of a part of my childhood memories.
Typical gags which we have seen tons of times. It tried too hard to be modern and it basically ruined the old classic yogi bear for older viewers.
At least the only people who will hate this are baby boomers

The Mayans were right.
I'm laughing so hard I can't breathe. But, the fact they even considered making a live action Yogi Bear or Smurf movie is a truly terrifying thing. Whats next, a live action Spongebob movie with Eddie Murphy as Spongebob? A Ed'Edd'n Eddy movie starring Shia LaBeouf? I think this is Hollywood's plan, to make movies that ruin our childhoods SO bad, they make us commit suicide so they can rule the Earth.

Na, she was the flintstone's Mobile.
Gotta love comedy films trailers. When joke is coming, the music stops for few seconds.
Dan Akroyd
Justin Timberlake :frown:
