Did anyone else see that flaming police van on some sort of bridge?
They are burning down the building of the ruling party right now, I recommend that stream again, this is exciting stuff. I hope the violence stops, though. Maybe it would be easier if it were a smaller country. I hope voodooattack (and everyone) gets out unharmed, and that the peoples of the Arab Nations get out more peaceful and more powerful within their society. This may finally bring some change.
Scans from a protest pamphlet (and translations) that have been distributed in some places- http://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2011/01/egyptian-activists-action-plan-translated/70388/ Western response has still been muted beyond telling Mubarak to show restraint. Some media outlets have been misrepresenting the protesters demands are simply for "reforms"- they want regime change all together, or trumping up fears of a "Muslim" take over. Mubarak is giving his TV speech now, not sure what is the content but it's probably the expected shit. ElBaradei seems to have been placed under house arrest.
Government building on fire
The live stream won't load for me.
Fucklots of army vehicles rolling in Not sure they will do anything though
It's loading fine for me. I guess they broke the curfew.
Gunfire. And explosions
Everytime the video stops to buffer, my heart drops because I think they are getting cut or something also, they guy is talking about the situation on the ground hears heavy gun fire.
Sounds like someone isn't happy, gun fire again.
In the shadow of recent events of the shootings and extreme violence the police are using against the people, I would like to ask something from all of you... Guys, I know a lot of you don't believe in the same thing but whatever you believe, I hope we can take a moment of silence right now and the rest of us can pray for the people being hurt, killed and tortured in Egypt right now. Lets hope for the best to come out of all of this and to end soon before it gets any worse. God Speed Egypt! Earn your freedom! you deserve it! Don't give up, keep spreading the word and one day you can say you aided in the Egyptian Revolution by supporting the Tor Networks or asking the news to cover the story. We can all make a difference even if it seems small.
I'm an atheist, so prayer is sort of a non option for me, but I wish only the best to the revolutionaries, and no casualties on both sides. Here's to a speedy, just resolution.

I hope this spreads to other dictatorships in the middle east and Africa, especially Libya and Saudi Arabia.
This is epic
It's great to see the people are uniting to remove a military dictator, but it's horrible that there are widespread, violent riots.
A friend of mine is recommending thread music: Deep Purple - Smoke on the water Franz Ferdinand - This fire The Clash - White Riot So many puns.

This live stream is awesome. I ear bangs, gunfire and the sound of a once oppressed people fighting back. This is so motivating! No wonder they were inspired by Tunisia.
