Obama speaking. Wants internet restored. +0.1, but you're still a politician.

This can't end well.[/QUOTE]
They're going to protect (like the protesters did before) the museum against looters, though there were reports of men carrying paintings on the streets. Not sure about the Tahrir square.

The Obama-speech is over.
Damn, I caught literally the last sentence he said.
That was disappointing. Still just protecting their own interests

Obama has always been all talk. He talks nice, I'll give him that, but he never does anything.

Quick recap for you: Restore communications, governments must listen to their people, people have rights to express their opinion everywhere and the US is going to support both Egyptian people and Govt. Also, refrain from violence.

If you was there, would you let him? No? I don't think they will either.

I doubt that the protest will end before Mubarak resigns.
True enough. Not much going on right now, though.

Compared to nothing there probably still is a lot. Compared to earlier today, there's probably quite less.
I'm going to post it like this since my youtube settings wont let me view it on the page but through media tags I can...

Did Mubarak do anything else? It's now saying that he refuses to step down, hasn't said that even after the speech.

He said he refused to step down in his speech.
Everyone's probably seen this, but

You deserve it. And ugh, I'll need some pretty soon too. I've been following this for about 12 hours...
Followed this thread since the first post, amazing, i wish i could be on the street's in Egypt, be part of the pure revolution.
Tonight is full of uncertanties. Anything could happen and I hope you all will pray for Pharaoh, Voodoo and the entire country of Egypt and its people. And if you don't pray, just wish them the best of luck. Tomorrow is a very new day. People are going to wake up to a very different Egypt than what they saw yesterday morning... Egyptians and the rest of the world alike.
Bedtime for me too.
Here it's only 4:38

It might seem exciting and fun to run around causing chaos but in Egypt, all around you people are suffering and being killed or brutally injured. And this is coming from a people who have been seriously oppressed for 29 years so none of us can begin to imagine their fire burning inside of them. Its easy for us to say we wish we could go either by meaning we want to help or just because it looks fun. But we are blessed to live in Nations where this is just a thing we see on TV or in text books of an event that happened hundreds of years ago. But across that ocean, its a totally different story. A reality most of us can't even begin to imagine. The most we can do to help is to spread the news and call for our governments to consider helping if worse comes to worse. But in the end, its the people that have the decision to either stay in bed the next day and just hope everybody else goes and does the protest while they stay safely in their homes, or they can all go out screaming and fighting for change, A change they deserve.
