lol a curfew to start on 4pm egypt time [editline]29th January 2011[/editline] good luck with that
I've been wondering, what happens to those burned out APCs? Does the military just throw it there? Why didn't they retrieve it?
Aljazeera : there is dispute between Mubarak and the military leaders about the way the demonstrators should be treated it looks like mubarak is asking military to kill us all :P ----------- from a colonel in the army Not yet confirmed - : news about movements in army leaded by Bridage Samy Anan (a famous and popular Brigade in the army ) For a coup to replace Mubarak and his defense minister - the news are Brigade Samy has gained US Blessings :)
Serious things seem to be happening on the stream. This feels like the story of a video game almost. Evil president tries to get the military to kill civilians. Military wants to refuse... might turn against him. sounds like a good plot. Maybe this will be the next COD game only extremely exaggerated and bad. Call of Duty: Egypt Revolution
So who will be the ass who screams your last name and forces you to do shit in the game?
Mubarak, but the point of the game is to not listen to him
Mubarak, but the point of the game is to not listen to him
A COD game, where you're NOT supposed to-do what they tell you?? That could be JUST what the COD franchise needs :haw:
Aljazeera : number of Martyrs in suez is 220 -------- Military Prevents Confrontation between Protesters and Police in Cairo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQD-X9G9xfk
good news :D just called voodooattack , he and the family are fine .. his voice is totally gone though, too much yelling :P
so glad to hear this.
Are there any more signs of which side the Army is going to take? I guess it's still pretty divided, but I hope that the advent of Facebook and twitter can be decisive in these new revolutions. I feel that these social networks can lead to a larger awareness of the people to what their government should be like, so that it can better their qualities of life while paying attention to their place in the world.

In honor of this great revolution, I am making a city in a minecraft server called New Egypt! I just finished building the memorial building celebrating the January 25th protests. its gonna be good. Even got a river flowing through it to represent the Nile.

Fuck I capped my internet watching the stream, hopefully you can update with whatever's going on
People dancing around... M1 A1's?
http://english.aljazeera.net/news/asia-pacific/2011/01/201112991712140318.html
China has blocked the word "Egypt'' from the country's wildly popular Twitter-like service, while coverage of the political turmoil has been tightly restricted in state media. China's ruling Communist Party is sensitive to any potential source of social unrest. A search for "Egypt'' on the Sina microblogging service brings up a message saying, "According to relevant laws, regulations and policies, the search results are not shown". The service has more than 50 million users. News on the Egypt protests has been limited to a few paragraphs and photos buried inside major news websites, but China Central Television had a report on its midday broadcast. China's foreign ministry did not respond to a request for comment Saturday on the events in Egypt.
That's interesting. I really doubt they fear a revolution, why would they do this? Then again, why would they want to censor google? They're so powerful. Perhaps just trying to stop unrest who would lead to unnecessary casualties, I guess.

Trying to brainwash everyone as much as possible. It's quite horrible really

Why don't they just build a huge metal structure containing the president in the middle of the city, and block all entrance to various streets.
Why don't they just build a huge metal structure containing the president in the middle of the city, and block all entrance to various streets.
So they would basically imprison him? Sounds good. :v:

No deaths there, by the way.
Ok, that massacre against those detained unarmed prisoners, Muslim Brotherhood (which is an opposition party to the current regimes party) is fucked up. I hope the protesters reach there and do something
I was looking more at Mutinies amidst revolutions than Coups, I'd probably have had difficulty determining which ones were military leaders deciding they wanted more power and buggering up a weak government (Franco in the 30s for example) from the ones where they were supporting the majority of people in installing a new regime.
