The government is being too easy on the protesters, but that's not a bad thing.
too easy ? using live ammunition and killing hundreds isn't so easy :(
This would be more awesome if Mubarak was sitting on top of a 6 kilometer high metal tower in the middle of Cairo. [sp]City17?[/sp] What would an Egyptian Gordon Freeman look like?

Somebody should edit the Mass Effect 3 trailer, and when it pans out it's just Mubarak and other members of the government destroying the city
xD this is just like video games!!!
xD this is just like video games!!!
no we're just bored because we're waiting for more news
no we're just bored because we're waiting for more news
well right now and as expected the most demonstrations stopped because people are more concerned about protecting their homes and families.. --- Btw Mohamed Elbaradei is now speaking on aljazeera english .. I hope for him to be the next president :)
What the fuck seriously. For hours now, BBC News cameras have been focused on the lights of Cairo behind their correspondent. She has been standing there blurry as fuck for hours and they still haven't fixed it.
Well that's good to hear. I guess I misread. But concerning the second part of your post...I saw pictures of broken statues, idols, relics etc. from the museum on aljazeera?
The BBC were reporting earlier that nothing had been stolen, just a lot of damage done.

Sorry, but I have to ask. What texture pack is that? That water looks very sexy.
What server is that? (If it's online)
Profans server, Check GIP thread Shreeyamacraft OK. bad idea posting that. back on topic... uuh. nothing earth shaking is happening so... whats up guys? Has anybody else been spreading the word about this on facebook or twitter or whatever?
I tried spreading the word on Facebook, but everyone just seemed to ignore me because they are busy posting stupid completely random stuff...
My Steam name has the tag [DOWN WITH MUBARAK!]
Oh god a post about a reindeer stuck on the ice getting help from the police to get safe is getting more attention than this on Facebook. [editline]29th January 2011[/editline] And a post saying "Masturbating too much makes you blind" Seriously what?
Confirmed news: People in every corner and every area of Cairo at least have made up "Legan Sha'beya" (Public Committees) made up of youth in the area to protect it. They are over running thugs & looters with great success & handing them to Army. It's not perfect but it is going really well. People there feel a great sense of harmony & unity. If a crisis doesn't break you, it makes you stronger.
From the "We are Khaled Said" facebook group
I'm not even going to bother posting anything about this on Facebook because I know some idiot posting insignificant crap will get more attention.
Indeed:
People go on facebook to talk to friends, not to debate world news
Indeed:
If it was that easy...
People go on facebook to talk to friends, not to debate world news
or to start and organize protests which overthrow a government and throw the entire nation into chaos in just a few days. just sayin...
BreakingNews' twitter says that 700 prisoners escaped. Whoa.
BreakingNews' twitter says that 700 prisoners escaped. Whoa.
700 political prisoners or 700 murderers? :ohdear:
People go on facebook to talk to friends, not to debate world news
Right, I don't understand why people are getting mad because not all of their friends are concerned with the happenings in a country far away, in which will have little to no affect on their lives. I care about what is happening but I'm just saying, how is it going to change anything if a few extra kids are following the events as they unfold in Egypt.
To who rated me dumb, you do realize I was referring to how the entire protests were organized through facebook right?
Situation now: Egyptians form public legan watching out in all neighbourhoods in most cities in Egypt. Jail break in Fayoum & 1000 criminals flee killing Police general Mohamed Batran. Mass funeral prayers for protesters killed by police in Alexandria tomorrow from Qa'ed Ibraheem mosque. Aljazeera: Mubarak planning exile to Tel Aviv, Israel after Saudi rejected him. http://bit.ly/fsDj3l (sounds too far fetched TBH).
Another post from "We are all Khaled Said". Good on ya, Saudi Arabia!
I'm not even going to bother posting anything about this on Facebook because I know some idiot posting insignificant crap will get more attention.
second comment that wasn't hate. I posted tons of posts concerning this and have only gotten 2 people to positively respond and show concern or be grateful that I am posting. Every little bit helps. and who knows, maybe they will talk to their parents, they parents will talk to each other... word gets around. I'll see who heard about this when I go back to school Monday and smack whoever hasn't. This is huge news. As for right now, I'm going to bed. I'll catch up on events (if there are any) tomorrow.
Uh. Al Jazeera stopped reporting on the revolt. What? It isn't over right? Edit: nevermind, its back. I think its too calm right now so they're switching to other things too.
I posted tons of posts concerning this and have only gotten 2 people to positively respond and show concern or be grateful that I am posting.
Because it's annoying - it doesn't surprise me that people haven't responded positively. It's big headed if you don't have any direct connection to the events. i.e. you're not organising protests.
revolt is boring and annoying tell me what you had for lunch damnit
Facebook: "What are you doing?" Me: "Mubarak is trying to release criminals..."
