yeah whats up with the jets? Its pretty cool how the crowd erupts into a roar whenever the planes fly over. I have a feeling something big is going to happen today. Mubarak isn't going to get out of this with any dignity left.

Continuing with translation: - show partial lack of power for the police personnels on 4 pm of the mentioned friday to show that the demonstrations are stronger while allowing those mentioned in attachment " 2" ( those in civilian wear ) to cause minor mess in the demonstrations according to the agreed plan - complete retreat of police forces , central security ( riot police) , traffic polic and all kinds of security and all sorts of officers and personnels assigned and protect governmental buildings and companies . they should all be dressed as civilians and to stay on roads sides , around trees and blend with demonstrators and between the cars without doing anything till they receive orders. - emptying all police stations from weapons and ammo and prisoners , those prisoners are to be moved to central prison and to assign strict security to guard them and to let police personnel into detention instead of the prisoners ,also to put detectives and all security personnel in detention - spread rumors using media that there are acts of looting and plundering and that is by calls from female police personnel to different means of media and make sure to make sounds of crying and screaming - spread the messages in demonstrations and to media channels that there are thugs looting , plundering and breaking in banks ,commercial properties and police stations.in the same time spreading thugs according to attachment " 2 " to cause a state of terror among civilians and asking for security and army to come protect them - Issuing hints using national media for people to make Committees of civilian watch to protect properties and people. that is to distract demonstrators and make them head to their areas without making army use force. - send wrong news and rumors to external media then correct it from national media to gain the confidence of public. and distracting the public from external media. and to make calls to public media to accuse external media of making up fake news. - asking the public to make committees of civilian watch to make patrols day and night to protect the neighborhoods , the requests should be made using female security personnels according to what have been agreed in earlier meeting. - to monitor the current situation by security personnels and updating us with estimated numbers of demonstrators and their location so that we can send groups from section "2" to residential buildings around them till they are absorbed and till demonstrations vanished - --------------------- sorry people took long this is a very long document :s btw , according to this ... mubarak is the satan's teacher -
the people are now saying that something big is going to happen soon. This is scary. I hope for the best!
An Al Jazeera reporter just said that the fighters that are buzzing the crowd are wobbling their wings; in aviation that's a sign of recognition of a signal you've gotten from the ground. I think that could be a good sign.
This sounds kind of selfish but I really want more high quality pictures of the revolution. I set up a theme on my desktop that alternates between photos I've pulled from the thread. Times like this I really really wish I was there if not protesting, but to take pictures at the least.
I think totallycoolpix keeps updating. Also reposting: http://english.aljazeera.net/watch_now/
Are the planes/helicopters on the civilian side or the president's side?
Are the planes/helicopters on the civilian side or the president's side?
#Egypt army has just told the crowd gathering at Tahrir Square that military will not go against the people #Jan25 #aljazeera In Tahrir Square AJE correspondent just saw soldier pull a woman, child w/ #Egypt flag on top of his tank. Dancing/waving to chants/cheering :) thy said earlier helicopters are used to get a better view of cairo to help catch thugs
They have the presidential seal. The helicopter that was just on the stream when it tipped over to get a view of the crowd, people are unsure about that. They just keep saying the same thing over and over how its a "dramatic scene!" checked totallycoolpix and found this one thats really cool
So, what were the jets?
So, what were the jets?
the officer said its to show the thugs that the army is here and remind them how strong it is ( i think he meant police :P ) --- RNN - Internet is partly back in some areas of egypt
Why does all the interesting stuff happen when I start heading to bed? Oh well, another day is another step in favor of human rights.
I hope Voodoo can get on and inform us about everything he's done!
One last post before I hit the sack. What exactly do the protesters have to do to fully over throw the old government. the'eve chased off the president, so what do they have to do to complete the revolution and how?
I believe Egypt is in anarchy right now, and that's not good, especially with those thugs running free, that's a fucking dick move. Go Egypt, now it's Sudan time too :)
Because it's annoying - it doesn't surprise me that people haven't responded positively. It's big headed if you don't have any direct connection to the events. i.e. you're not organising protests.
Right, if people cared enough they'd follow the revolt on a news site instead of reading your incessant postings on a website they go on to connect with their friends.

Let me get this straight. Murbak (or whatever the fuck he's called) doesn't control the military right? At least fully.
The chanting on the stream is getting really loud.
The chanting on the stream is getting really loud.
No, when I go on Facebook I expect to see what my friends are up to. I'd be fine if people posted something like "Shit's getting fucked up in Egypt..." But I would be pissed if one of my friends is constantly posting updates, because if I cared enough, I would be following it on a news source, and if I didn't I wouldn't be following it at all and these posts would just clog my wall. And don't say 'just hide them' because if it's my friend I don't want to hide all of their posts. My main point is that you can't get mad at people for not caring and getting mad at you for clogging their newsfeed. To be honest, there really is no reason for the average teenager to care because this will have no affect on them.
http://english.aljazeera.net/watch_now/?foo=bar This actually live? They got shut down, I'm confused.

You are being way to serious about this facebook shit. Facebook isn't JUST for connecting with friends. And if somebody doesn't like it, they can say that and they have the right to say that. This isn't Egypt where they are penalized for speaking their mind :/ Or the mature thing to do would be just ignore it. Yes it's all in good spirits, but it's bloody annoying and big headed.
the opposition political parties and most of the organizations( Including muslim brotherhood ) have agreed that Mohamed Elbaradei should be the person to speak on their behalf and to be a New Interim president
To be honest, there really is no reason for the average teenager to care because this will have no affect on them.
That's a pretty narrow minded view for anyone to have. It may not effect any of us directly, but those people you see on TV rebelling against their corrupt government are REAL people. They were born, had childhoods, made friends, went to school, had relationships, got jobs, think and feel just as I and you do, and they ARE being effected by this. And as a fellow human being the well-being of all Egyptians, of all PEOPLE as a whole has some form of meaning to me. On a more personal note. My physics and maths teacher of the last two and a half years is Egyptian. His family still lives there. I hope they're all alright.
I think they were threatened by the authorities.
No, http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1054878-Al-Jazeera-banned-in-Egypt-for-execellent-coverage-of-the-protests
http://english.aljazeera.net/watch_now/?foo=bar This actually live?
the opposition political parties and most of the organizations( Including muslim brotherhood ) have agreed that Mohamed Elbaradei should be the person to speak on their behalf and to be a New Interim president
I think this is a good idea, he seems very level-headed, and his experience with the IAEA means he probably has quite a bit of experience with international politics and the logistics of running a large organisation.
the opposition political parties and most of the organizations( Including muslim brotherhood ) have agreed that Mohamed Elbaradei should be the person to speak on their behalf and to be a New Interim president
That sounds like a good thing.
