Is that smoke or just a crappy camera? [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline]
welcome back bro !!! btw ... Where were all these pro-Mubarak supporters the last 7 days?
I presume dressed as normal police. (not that i live there) Also one of the biggest dutch news sites (www.nu.nl) has a seperate EGYPT section on the front page now. (Thay also had them for Irak and Wikileaks.)
The pro-Mumbarak thugs are moving towards the square now.
When you can, read the whole thread Voodo, would love to know your response on it all etc. and tell us what happened and shit
What side is attacking on the live stream?
What side is attacking on the live stream?
Pro I THINK (based on the posts in this thread). Impossible to tell though.
What side is attacking on the live stream?
Pro gvt is attacking peaceful anti gvt. [Live Coverage]
What side is attacking on the live stream?
Ok Pro mubarak. Ban ki-moon is suspecting the goverment being behind the pro-mubarak protestors
Come on, what the fuck. Not even Ben Ali had pro-Ben Ali demonstrations.
The ani-gov just pushed them back.
Al Jazeera are showing people throwing chairs and tables off a building.
Who the fuck is throwing those heavy objects from a tall building (TV e.g) onto the crowd below?
Added captions. I see my bro kept you updated while I was gone, thanks yad! :buddy: As for the camera, yeah, crappy phone cam + low light + smoke is bad for photography, but you make-do I guess. 'Mubarak supporters' are basically state sec. and regular police officers/informants dressed in civilian cloth (IDs of the captured confirmed this), NDP supporters, and hired thugs, in addition to government employees threatened to lose their jobs if they don't go out and do what they did. Protesters are fucking them up as I write this at Al-Tahrir square in Cairo, they tried to do the same at Shohada'a Sq. in Alexandria yesterday but got hurt badly.
BBC are saying that apparently the Egyptian government has "rejected calls for power transition". The BBC were saying that the calls were coming from other countries. So if this is true, which country asked him to get out.
Turkey? http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703960804576119811353451704.html UK was the same as the US, orderly transition.
Pro-gov I think.
Someone the BBC is talking to is saying that the pro Mubarak protesters are taking guns into the square and firing them.
Wow, this is awful. The woman caller is terrified. So sad.
[editline]2nd February 2011[/editline] Typical Yahoo! comment. Completely normal.
Watching this I get the urge to start building walls around the square.
I hope that fat man in white falls off the building. Also the guy next to him with the slingshot.
Here you can see some live stuff. Its a Norwegian site so it might not work for some http://live.vgtv.no/?eventId=35
Love the camels and projectile throwing from buildings. nice touch [editline]2nd February 2011[/editline] Brilliant way to transition to normalcy, if the regime's behind it.
Wow. Mubarak is getting really desperate now. How long until these police realize that the money he is giving them isn't worth the hate they are going to receive WHEN mubarak steps down... and he will. I think even he realizes hes not going to make it and is just doing this to cause as much shit as possible for the new government to clean up.
pro Mubarak thugs are now throwing Molotov cocktails and some of them reach the museum
Fucking army needs to do something.
now they are throwing molotov directly on the fucking museum , they are trying to force army to use violence i think
Shit yes Voodooattack is back. Good to see you've been fighting the good fight. Also, thanks for being there to keep up hope Pharaoh.
fucking hell! what is mubarak doing! THAT RETARD! HE IS DESTROYING IMPORTANT HISTORY! why is the UN just standing by! WHY!
now they are throwing molotov directly on the fucking museum , they are trying to force army to use violence i think
Motherfuckers you don't mess with culture AND porn
fuck now I understand more , imagine guys if the museum burn or almost burn .... do you think the army will allow any demonstrations in Tahrir square (peaceful or not ) he is forcing army to apply the curfew even if its by force
Fucking army needs to do something.
...the exact same people who leT the pro- and anti- groups come into contact with each other? It's hard to believe they have keeping the peace as a main objective.
