Oh please, not that guy again.
I'll just quote what I wrote about him in the Glenn Beck thread:
I'm not sure why I wrote all of this even, that guy is so full of shit it'd pop out if you gave him a sharp glare.

But Mr. Mubarak and his private army of fanatics are part of the population of Egypt and, by extension, its people!
So are our criminals and thugs.

Expect this next Friday: Huge flag being prepared at the Library of Alexandria.

It's a police-state first-off. How are you surprised by this?

Those are the military police, which is worse than normal police.
Got into an argument in lecture today, apparently muslims and arabs only deserve democracy if it's supervised by us (U.S.) or we can guarantee they'll do whatever we want them to do forever. An opinion sided with by the instructor.
You know, in a business college course that had an ethics and diversity program as a prerequisite.
Is there anything a guy can do to help that doesn't require flying over there? Because I'm getting to the point where I feel like I need to do more than ramble about ideals and AJE to fatasses who have never read their own country's founding documents.
I was watching CNN. It showed a brief clip of a green police van smashing through a crowd. Even though I felt bad, I cracked up laughing. Not sure why, but I found it really funny.

You're ugly.:saddowns:
The heads of the Army are meeting to discuss what to do about Mubarak. Also, CNN is reporting that the leader of the National Democratic Party has been quoted as saying the demands of the protesters have been met and 'they won'.

Tunisia is gonna repeat itself, fuck yeah
Apparently Mubarak just left Egypt, no source to confirm this though.
Army is now in control.
Failed attempt at assassinating Suleiman by army officers.
I'm sort of sceptical. All of this could be a big ruse by Suleiman, the man is the devil's mentor.
Let us hope El Baradei gets the seat, that man is uncorruptable. He was originally the Chairman of IAEA for the UN, and the US HATED him, not because he a bad guy, but because he was a man that played double standards, and the US is the most hypocritical countries when it comes to international law. For the UN, the US is like this well-connected mafia that bribed officials to stay quiet. ElBaradei was this new sheriff that didn't take shit from anybody, including the US. Unlike Mubarak, he can't be bribed. The man even won a Nobel Peace Prize in 2005 for Nuclear Safety. I think this is why so many idiots like Glen Beck are voicing stupid concerns over the conflict when Egypt becomes independent; America is getting screwed.
Latest from Al Jazeera feed: "Egyptian Army earlier prevented Mubarak from making speech to hand power to VP"
It's too early to name names, what I'm worried about most right now is Egypt not falling under martial rule.
Abdullah Ali
Ahaha, oh god, awesome news: Protesters build roadblocks on the road to the Cairo international airport to prevent government officials from fleeing the country.

Hey!
BREAKING: Mubarak to deliver speech Thursday night, in that speech he is extremely likely to announce his resignation.
The announcement comes after Egypt's military proclaimed on national television that it stepped in to "safeguard the country" and assured protesters that Mubarak will meet their demands. In Washington, the CIA chief said there was a "strong likelihood" Mubarak will step down Thursday.

Fucking wicked. Grats people of Egypt, you pretty much just pulled off a successful revolution.

Now I wonder who will fill the power vacuum?
Hip hip, Hurrah!
Thought it would never come! Well, actually I did, but it took its time.
Now, are the people of Egypt disillusioned about the hard times that are coming? I hope they are pumped up, and that their quality of life improves significantly. :3: Also, that they conduct fair elections, and that El Baradei rules the transitional government.
I feel like jumping, except my neighbours might not enjoy it. Congratulations.
I have been lurking in this thread since the protest in egypt started. I'm fascinated about what people can do together when they really want something, in this case freedom. I't looks like now that you will get democracy soon. I'm from Denmark myself so here democracy is taken granted.
I really hope you succed. I've been to Egypt myself and i love the country. Very kind people and a beatyfull country.
All i really gotta say is congratiolations and good luck!

Truth. This part is as important as ousting the original government. Let's hope it all goes well.

Only time can tell.
My dad said over dinner while BBC report on the situation as of now "just another country the muslims are taking over, putting the white man out." I would think Egypt is rather muslim, but I know very little about Islam and the like so I'm not 100% sure on names and who they relate to.

Well they are taking down mubarek who "was" supported by USA. So if he means USA as the white man idk.
With all my heart, congratulations.
Btw the news here said earlier that the USA has been sending clear instructions to Mubarek for many years about giving more freedom to the people. Much biased news or?
Damn
