Why is he talking bullshit like this, does he really believe it or is he just stalling? And if he is stalling, what is he waiting for?
I wonder if he will send thugs after his speech again , just like last week
"I will not separate from this soil, until I am buried under it"
Saying things like that is just begging for trouble IMO.

We are studying the UDHR (Universal Declaration of Human Rights) in Street Law class. I would suspect the UN to have taken a much harsher turn on Egypt because Mubarak is breaking almost all the human rights defined in the articles!

Its the UN, what do you expect them to do?
They will send a nasty letter to him asking him to please stop it at once. Its the UN, what do you expect them to do?
President Mubarak, Hans Blix from the UN is here to see you
They will send a nasty letter to him asking him to please stop it at once. Its the UN, what do you expect them to do?
True. Theres no way for them to really enforce it. Another reason we had a debate whether we believed the US Constitution was stronger or the UDHR. I believe the UDHR is even if it can't enforce its articles. However, other countries might take upon themselves to defend those rights defined in the UDHR which is why I believe it is superior.

Hnnnnnnng.jpg [editline]10th February 2011[/editline] I'm fucking raging at that bitch
They will send a nasty letter to him asking him to please stop it at once. Its the UN, what do you expect them to do?
Hey, don't criticise the UN. A lot of conventions regarding Human Rights have been accepted in the UN, a good bunch of the rights you take for granted wouldn't be there if it wasn't for the UN.
God damn it, that asshole. he needs to go fuck himself already. Stupid bitch, stand down! rage
Hey, don't criticise the UN.
Thousands of protesters are now heading to the National TV building which is completely protected by presidential guards. Three machine guns can be seen pointing towards protesters and a large fence of barbed wire is surrounding the entrance. More protesters are pouring in.
[editline]11th February 2011[/editline]
Hey, don't criticise the UN. Are they seriously pointing fucking machine guns at protesters? I tell you, nothing good ever happens when military starts playing police. It's never worked, it never will.
Are they seriously pointing fucking machine guns at protesters? I tell you, nothing good ever happens when military starts playing police. It's never worked, it never will.
What? You just started following this didn't you?
Are they seriously pointing fucking machine guns at protesters? I tell you, nothing good ever happens when military starts playing police. It's never worked, it never will.
Its not the military though. Its pretty much just souped up police guards.
Are they seriously pointing fucking machine guns at protesters? I tell you, nothing good ever happens when military starts playing police. It's never worked, it never will.
I heard a quote once that is relevant to this and I just tried to find it again and it turns out its a line from Battlestar Galatica. Still relevant though. "There's a reason you separate the military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people."

What's up with AlJazeeraEnglish hiring beautiful Anchorwomen?
What's up with AlJazeeraEnglish hiring beautiful Anchorwomen?
:D Btw guys, me and Pharaoh just finished setting up http://jan25forum.com ! It's a dedicated forum for the revolution as you can guess, with an Arabic section managed by Pharaoh also. I'm hoping to make it a hub for Egyptians to share their stories and news "from the ground" with the rest of the world, instead of everything being all over the place on twitter and facebook, which isn't very unified and you don't really get to talk to anyone on a personal level. I was so interested by Voodo's stories and how he really told us about whats really happening there from the perspective of a protester, so with Pharaoh's help I decided to setup the site to expand on that and get more people like him to share. Hopefully if some of you are interested you'll check it out. And spread it around! Maybe it'll end up a great place for direct information from Egyptians.

Lol, you don't have to. But it would be still awesome if you wanted to write something up - like a summary, or just throw your thoughts down. Honestly, use it as a personal blog if you like (that a lot of people will see, hopefully).
Are they seriously pointing fucking machine guns at protesters? I tell you, nothing good ever happens when military starts playing police. It's never worked, it never will.
The national guard (military) broke up the 1992 LA riots.
So muburak intends to stay in power?
So muburak intends to stay in power?
Oh no, he wants to step up but he can't because otherwise the country would descend into chaos and then the communists will take over America. :ssh:
What's up with AlJazeeraEnglish hiring beautiful Anchorwomen?
So that's where all the sensible pretty women are.
