Haha I noticed that guy, I was gonna make a picture out of him but never took a screencap during the speech. :p
"Right now in Egypt: About 300 Policemen are protesting outside the Interior ministry asking for improvements to their work & living conditions. They are also asking for the heads of the interior ministry to be put on trial. Reports on tear gas being fired on them. What a change!!!"
I'm confused...
I'm confused...
Just wait and see. A loooot of strange stuff is going to come out of Egypt in the next few weeks. Also, in their last statement, the army dismantled the parliament. :hist101:

I'm glad they have their independence, but I still don't like the fact that it bumped gas prices up to $3 a gallon. Joking aside, congratulations to everyone in Egypt. You've earned it.
I hope Egypt gets on its feet again soon. I want to take a visit over there before I leave Europe back to America next year.
Pathetic how the police are trying to make themselves look good, because they know they're screwed.
yeah, thats kinda stupid of them to complain... lol, I dont even know how to comment on that. By the way, I finally finished my Egypt video. It's rendering now and I'll upload it soon, I'll post it in a bit! EDIT: Here it is! [temporarily deleted, youtube glitched the video, reuploading in a different format] What do you think? PS: How do I embed youtube videos? Edit: haha, check this out, I love this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSUzfEI2Nls

I had to use "ī" to get the tags to show up properly. I just hope that the old government doesn't influence the new elections to come.
There you go, I got the video working properly now. Sorry for the delay. Enjoy everyone, it's probably one of the more orchestrated ones out there! PS: On that note, if you guys could kinda spread this around, it'd be nice. I'm used to being unpopular but I don't want people to miss out on this, I really tried to make an epic video and kind of deliver the feel of that the revolution was like.

Oh, and boy, did the state-owned media change.. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/5494.aspx Those are the same guys who praised Mubarak as a national hero 3 days ago.. :irony:
Well maybe they couldn't say anything because he controlled them.
Well maybe they couldn't say anything because he controlled them.
Still doesn't justify them turning a full 180 degrees in 6 hours though.
Poor cops, I bet half of them don't even want to be there.
The media here is claiming that the military is in the midst of installing a new dictatorship, how much of this is true?
Media here is saying Mubarak is 'depressed' hahahaha http://www.20minutos.es/noticia/958981/0/mubarak/depresion/egipto/ Article claims to be backed up by Al Gumhuriya, some local newspaper in Egypt

That was pretty damn awesome, nice job on it.
that's an awesome video! posted on my facebook for all my friends whom I have been keeping informed on updates non-stop will see. Also, this may sound ass hole -ish but after seeing all the people throwing rocks in that video, I realized, I could have went to Egypt to practice my aim since I wanted to join my schools baseball team... just sayin. you have to admit, that WOULD improve my aim....

Many rumours are flying around at the moment, but I honestly don't care. If he's in bad health, I wholeheartedly wish him well. I hope he gets better, I wouldn't want him to miss his upcoming trial. [editline]15th February 2011[/editline]
The media here is claiming that the military is in the midst of installing a new dictatorship, how much of this is true?
The military literally stated that they want a civil democratic state, they also had an interview with a couple of the activists that helped start this, where they told them that they support what we did and couldn't imagine that youth our age could bring the much awaited change. Besides, what do you think the nation that toppled a dictator of 30 years would do to a newly appointed one with no roots? :hist101:
Yeah, I don't think the military is stupid enough to put another dictatorship up after seeing the enormous carnage the people brought up in the protests
Sounds like a few more countries are starting to declare their love for baton.
Dr Mubarak or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love the Baton
People are fucking idiots. Do people not realize what the fuck they contribute to? Their government wouldn't pose much of a physical threat to anyone if there was no one to support them as military, police, etc. It's like those guys choose to strip themselves of their humanity and love for each other, since they're taking orders by some coward parasite to fight the people who live and work the land. What the fuck.
Dr Mubarak or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love the Baton
Fast! get Stanley Kubrick on the phone! Oh well. :smith:
