Abortion should definitely NOT be illegal. I don't think any rational person can argue that a woman who was raped does not deserve to have an abortion. The only people who believe that are mental. There should probably be a limit to when you can get an abortion, though. I mean, no 8-month abortions. I'd say that if the baby can live on its own, you shouldn't be able to abort; it'd just make more sense to have the baby at that point. But the parents should definitely have the option.
If the parents what to have an abortion then let them, if you make it illegal more people will resort to metal sticks.
no 8-month abortions
I think the limit is 3 months
If they want. I really hate people against it, I mean really "Hey everyone, lets go have sex, OH SHIT SORRY LOOKS LIKE YOUR PREGNANT" Repeat x1,000,000,000 for global poverty and famine.
Abortion is seen as bad by christians the same reason why homosexuality. because it lowers birth rate.
i'd rather be dead than born with disabilities caused by my mother smoking crack
Abortion is seen as bad by christians the same reason why homosexuality. because it lowers birth rate.
thou shalt not pull out
i'd rather be dead than born with disabilities caused by my mother smoking crack
Well I would rather be born. but between having a teenager having a child now or wait and raise the child properly then I would want her to have the abortion.

I don't like abortion, I'm ticklish.
Abortion is seen as bad by christians the same reason why homosexuality. because it lowers birth rate.
Not the reason at all.
I'd rather be born with disabilities caused by my crack using mother than be dead.
You wouldn't know the difference.
In my opinion there's a really clear line that dictates when abortions should and shouldn't be allowed and that line is birth.
Well birth is a form of abortion. its just that it can survive a while oput of the mother now.
In my opinion there's a really clear line that dictates when abortions should and shouldn't be allowed and that line is birth.
No it isn't, it's like 7 weeks after conception.
I still feel that at some points abortion because just a skirting of responsibility. The women who constantly get abortions need to bring it up to have a partner or partners that wear condoms. I know there is a system where you get free strikes for surgery. I know in my hometown its two in total, after that you have to pay for it. Of course the system would have to be adapted, things like women pregnant from rape would be special circumstances. I'll probably get called evil for saying that after a woman runs out of strikes she'll have pay for the operations, but I think its more sensible then saying free abortions for every woman. Sooner or later they have to stand up and take responsibility for mistakes and this also goes to men who don't carry condoms which are cheaper in the long run then paying for an accidental child.
You wouldn't know the difference.
Yeah and by aborting it you just took away that childs chance to find out
No it isn't, it's like 7 weeks after conception.
I'm not American [release]Abortion in Canada is not limited by the law (on-demand, no time limit). While some non-legal obstacles exist, Canada is one of only a few nations with no legal restrictions on abortion. Regulations and accessibility vary between provinces.[/release]
Yeah and by aborting it you just took away that childs chance to find out
seriously, it doesn't matter if the damn thing doesn't know whats going on at first. What it becomes is important and everyone who tries to make the distinction is trying to absolve the fact they just ended a life. I do believe its a woman's choice because the fetus is inside her but that fetus leads to a human. DNA says otherwise becaues that's what makes us human. And if you want to pull out technicality, single cell organisms are living things. They fit all the criteria and just because they don't have the rational thought of human beings doesn't make them not living. It's their body. Let them do what they want with it. Think, guys. It's better for the baby to be aborted than to live and probably not know their parents or have parents that can't take care of it/don't want it.
so you can have an abortion but realize its already a thinking child? do they still throw it in the trash?
The baby is killed medicinally first, they don't yank it out and slam it into the wall [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline]
Then Canada succeeds in being backwards.
Haha, women's rights. Pffft, so backwards.

Despite the moral differences among us concerning abortions. I think we can for the most part agree that abortion should not be legalized or outlawed federally. Due to the morally subjective nature of abortion it should be left up to the states.
The baby is killed medicinally first, they don't yank it out and slam it into the wall .
Darn it looked really cool in my head in a sick way. so it comes out as an 8 pound pudding hu
I was aborted, but I was badass, and was able to be born.
