It shouldn't be illegal
Oh god not another nihilist.
I'm not being a nihilist. Don't know any other way to say it.
Solution to the rape problem: Solution to everything else:
Wait, wait, every woman must wear a hooked cup in their vag all day every day just to avoid being raped? That hardly seems fair for women who dont want the discomfort. Birth control does not work 100% of the time, and believe it or not, I know it's completely and totally implausible, but sometimes women get pregnant while intoxicated, AMAZING.
To be entirely honest a woman shouldn't have to wear something incase of rape.
Then abort abort abort. Why is there something wrong with aborting a child born out of a raping? Does being a "nihilist" include believing that potential lives are the decision of the mother? If so, sure, I am a nihilist, but that's some bullshit.

The fucking mental image, the horror.
Oh god not another nihilist.
I'm usually at the front of the line calling people out for being nihilists but he's right in this case. If you want to prevent as much suffering as possible you should support abortions for people who feel they wouldn't be fit to raise a kid/don't want to raise one. That's not what I said. I agree with it, pretty much everyone here does, but that's not my point. [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline] I guess it's part of what I said.
What? That's not what I said. I agree with it, pretty much everyone here does, but that's not my point.
Didn't you just say that if a woman doesn't want a kid she shouldn't have to have one? I pretty much just restated your post in a warmer tone.
Oh, thought you were talking about the middle part.

Oh wait, that doesn't apply either. Whatever, everyone already agrees on that (except for the 37 "nevers") [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline]
If it's not your point, why don't you explain your point? Jeez.
I did
I don't get why couples can't just fuck for fun and abort if a pregnancy happens. If that does happen and they weren't trying, it's a little something called an accident. That means the embryo wasn't supposed to have formed in the first place, so to fix said accident, you have an abortion. It has nothing to do with the taking away a potential life, it's just fixing something that was never supposed to happen in the first place. Or if the mother changes her mind. It's a big fucking decision, I think they have the right to change their mind on it.

If it's not your point, why don't you explain your point? Jeez.
He did You don't have to get pissy at him, he thought I misinterpreted his post and wanted to correct me. That's fine.
Well if the baby has a functioning brain it will.
isn't it about time that you go to church and suck jesus' dead dick
Here's my opinion. Abortions should be legal in the first 2 weeks of pregnancy as the forming embryo does not have the ability to think or function, let alone conceptualize it's own death. I agree entirely with mbbird's points. I think the main reason people are disagreeing with abortion is they do not understand the rules, requirements and process of abortion.
I think a fetus/just born baby can't conceptualize it's own death either.
correct
It's for the best, in some cases. Get raped? Abortion needs to be an option in most cases. Also, helps with the stem cell research stuff. If you can't raise a baby though, or just don't want one, and happen to get pregnant, then abortion is wrong, adoption is good. In other words, only under certain circumstances.
isn't it about time that you go to church and suck jesus' dead dick
Hey Doriol, you finally made and original comment. Too bad it was an insult and not an actual advance in the debate. Sorry, you still lose.

That's not nearly enough time.
Initially my opinion was that; if a woman wanted to get an abortion, she should go through a small court process, where a judge would determine if her reasons for an abortion were justifiable. Then I realized that, with the court systems as backed up as they are already, this would be nearly impossible to implement fully and effectively. So now my opinion is that it should be legal.
and what happens after two weeks?
No important or drastic changes in the small bundle of cells, that's for sure.
I don't like it.

I've suffered a miscarriage, but it all happened so fast I hardly had a chance to even think about what I'd do. If that didn't happen, I doubt I'd have been able to get an abortion. Even though I hadn't got my head round it all I still felt like shit when I realised I'd miscarried, so I could never bring that on myself purposely. I'm glad that people are given the choice, but personally I wouldn't do it.
Sure, if they're retarded and all "LETS HAVE SEX WITH EVERYONE AND ANYONE" I guess they deserve to be punished, but the way that's worded it reminds me of the catholic don't-have-sex-or-go-to-hell rule.

The child will most likely have a terrible upbringing and that's just not fair.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/As4Ys.gif[/img_thumb]
I love how they use the word "contract killers" when referring to abortion doctors
