Watching the first part right now. Is it really just a whole 40 minutes of her talking with no background music, sounds or whatever else ? That sounds boring, regardless of the topic. I mean I don't have to watch her face as she talks, I'd rather see fullscreen footage.

While violence in a videogame may not cause you to act out the violence portrayed it may plant those ideas in your head and desensitize you to it, particularly when it is subtle or already accepted in society. While violence (involving firearms) is a rare occurrence in society it is a fairly commonly held thought that "men are better than women" (in some respects so it is very different in that regard.

There is an actual budget involved in there, like any series. Tropes vs women has none of this. And most of the games she mentions are extremely cheap by now. The oldest ones can be played and recorded for free with an emulator, and the rest can usually be found for, like, ten bucks, fifteen dollars at most. Even if you bought all of the games at full price, you could buy 3000 of them with 150000 dollars. Even at 6000 dollars, you'd have way more money than games to buy. Watching part 2 right now. Really annoying how she's very frequently implying the use of that trope is no more than porn and that some people are actually getting off to it.
