Exoskeletons, while not weapons yet, can be kickass.
Seriously, think about it. With nanites we can extend our lifespans, heal wounds that would otherwise be life-threatening automatically, purify water, construct materials from base molecules, and so much more.
Exoskeletons, while not weapons yet, can be kickass.
Exoskeletons, while if hard enough can provide good armor, are goddamned ovens, flamthrower the suit and you got yourself some fried human :clint:
Exoskeletons, while if hard enough can provide good armor, are goddamned ovens, flamthrower the suit and you got yourself some fried human :clint:
We've had heat-shielding for a very long time, if you can get passed the other problems with the tech that's not one of the major ones to worry about.
Exoskeletons, while if hard enough can provide good armor, are goddamned ovens, flamthrower the suit and you got yourself some fried human :clint:
Yeah fuck you I can take your head off with one blow with an exoskeleton
Yeah fuck you I can take your head off with one blow with an exoskeleton
Why bother when after increasing the strength additions of the suit you could add vehicle mounted weapons?
Exoskeletons, while if hard enough can provide good armor, are goddamned ovens, flamthrower the suit and you got yourself some fried human :clint:
if you flame-thrower a normal human you get fried human too.
Why bother when after increasing the strength additions of the suit you could add vehicle mounted weapons?
It's KICKASS
We should leave all the gun tech advancements to professionals, they know more then we all do, and if they saw our ideas they would probably laugh.
We should leave all the gun tech advancements to professionals, they know more then we all do, and if they saw our ideas they would probably laugh.
Can't we dream?
We should leave all the gun tech advancements to professionals, they know more then we all do, and if they saw our ideas they would probably laugh.
What kind of attitude is that? If more people were to think like that technological progress would be so slow it isn't funny. It's spontaneous creativity and often unintentional suggestions that can make a world of difference if for no other reason then the various perspectives involved.
I like the idea of railguns and kinetic bombardment.
This a lot.
A gun that shoots scathing-hot coffee at peoples dicks I know that getting coffee on your dick is worse than being tazed ten times Riot cops could use this technology to burn peoples dicks
my dick just shrivelled into iteself and told me to stop reading your post. :ohdear:
if you flame-thrower a normal human you get fried human too.
That and they are outlawed... Like, you aren't even allowed to use them since Vietnam. [editline]05:10PM[/editline]
They have university degrees, you're a dude on a forum for video games
And you're being a dick. Be nice and stop crushing everyone's fragile dreams. We like our fragile dreams... now we just need to outfit them with Exo-skeletons so they can be less fragile...
They have university degrees, you're a dude on a forum for video games
And yet still exists the possibility for any given person to randomly think of something that could prove to be of even a tiny significance solely because each and every one of us thinks uniquely. Therefore it isn't unreasonable to say that because of this difference in perspective that what might be a standard way of thinking for any given person may be so far out of the box for another given person that they may not have considered that train of thought otherwise. Besides this is entirely off topic so yeah.
Paired up with nano-bots you get reactive armor and then you are halfway towards a super soldier.
Combined with a more finished exoskeleton and a weapons package and you'd be set.

Can I have an exoskeleton yet? With a flame thrower attachment.
