I like the gun being developed, basically a ranged taser, although there's no reason why you couldn't also make it lethal. Essentially it fires a powerful laser at the target which ionises the air along it's path, then a powerful electric current is passed down this ionised column of air which shocks the target. It's a laser/plasma/ion/lightning gun all in one, how can that not be awesome? I'm sry but call me sadistic, but theres nothing id fancy more then a solder shotgun. Think of it, liquid lead and tin flying into someones face.
