Iced Earth has a lot of Goth/Prog Metal influence. I've never really thought of them as standard thrash but I guess.

Yeah. I have an Iced Earth album on Frets on Fire, half the songs are really slow and Gothic.

Anyways yeah, listening to the song, it seems pretty simple for the most part. But, it was requested, and the pack I'm doing is a popularly-voted requests pack, and it was one of the top ten, so... :v:
