Thrash Metal Megathread! - General

I happen to like their thrash era, and if you got a problem with that, I really don't care...

I think this decade and POSSIBLY the next decade (assuming this resurgence influences many people) might be the best decades.

So, earlier I freaked out because this guy was selling tickets for the 'tallica concert in Copenhagen and there was no way my father would pay. I asked him again, and guess what. HE'LL PAY. But I need more than two tickets. Going ticket hunting now, wish me luck. I'm overly joyful now.

Which album was it that made Slayer famous? Because I just listened to their first album(Show No Mercy) and while it wasn't bad it didn't have anything that other Thrash bands of that period didn't have :raise:

I know that, but I'm pretty sure it was an earlier album that put them on the map.

The Haunting The Chapel EP and Hell Awaits are probably what your thinking of.
