I happen to like their thrash era, and if you got a problem with that, I really don't care...
Anthrax sucks bawlz compared to Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer. I know Wikipedia says they are the big four of thrash, but Anthrax sucks.
their first three albums of pure amazing epic and all of their side and split off projects beg to differ
1980s = best decade of thrash
I may revise this statement when Megadeth release Endgame.

I'm really liking this new thrash sound that's being made by bands like Lazarus AD and Evile. I think this decade and POSSIBLY the next decade (assuming this resurgence influences many people) might be the best decades.
Is Dave going to release Headcrusher as a single soon, so I can can hear it in good quality? That over the phone thing is such bullshit.

I saw Megadeth live in Vancouver on June 24th a few weeks ago.
They played Headcrusher in its full form, and man, you have something
to be excited about, it's fucking badass. From hearing Headcrusher it sounds
like Megadeth is slowly digging their old roots back up for this album.
Best part, Vancouver and I were the first people on earth to hear the new single!
Anyways, this is my first post here so I'll list some of my favorite Thrash.
Metal Church
Reverend
Slayer
Demolition Hammer
Exodus
Atrophy
HeXen
Megadeth
Uncle Slam
Xentrix
Exhorder
Artillery
Holy Terror
Intruder
Dr. Livingdead
Metallica (Kill Em' All - Justice)
Sufosia
Ugh, D.R.I. died when they turned thrash.
Thrash Zone and Full Speed Ahead are decent records but nothing will ever top Dirty Rotten LP.
Dude I get to hear a song off of World Painted Blood at mayhem
It's gonna be sick
Evile is pretty awesome.
Those About to Die from the Into the Grave album.
How can you beat a song that's about fucking gladiators?
How can you beat a song that's about fucking gladiators?
Perhaps a song that's about that killer white rabbit from Monty Python and The Holy Grail?

I see your Monty Python and raise you a hilariously awesome song about cold weather
With all my long hair, i don't need a hat to wear
Extreme cold weather is reigning outside,
the wind is blowing and the frost does bite.
I hope I won't freeze my toes off,
cause then I will have to cough
an icycle's hanging from my bum,
and there lies my neighbours frozen mum.
The thermometer's below zero,
don't try to be a hero
by running to scool
Now you`re frozen dead you fool.
Extreme cold weather is freezing my blood,
I' d always have summer if I'd be god.
Now is april and you have thawed,
you won't step out again into the cold.
One of the best thrash vocalists I've ever heard:

He's pretty good. Whilst we're in this field, though, I think Overkill is better.

His voice is just so damn awesome. :v:
The song "Overkill" from Feel the Fire shows his true power, right at the end.

Whyyyy?
Kaz, we must lash him to the slave stick for this travesty...
So, earlier I freaked out because this guy was selling tickets for the 'tallica concert in Copenhagen and there was no way my father would pay. I asked him again, and guess what.
HE'LL PAY. But I need more than two tickets. Going ticket hunting now, wish me luck. I'm overly joyful now.
Which album was it that made Slayer famous? Because I just listened to their first album(Show No Mercy) and while it wasn't bad it didn't have anything that other Thrash bands of that period didn't have :raise:

I think Reign in Blood was supposedly their "masterpiece" but I can't be sure, Raining Blood is the only Slayer song I've ever heard.
I know that, but I'm pretty sure it was an earlier album that put them on the map.
The Haunting The Chapel EP and Hell Awaits are probably what your thinking of.

Let's toss him down the burning pits of Duat!
Ugh, D.R.I. died when they turned thrash.
How? I like both eras of D.R.I.
Have you heard Full Speed Ahead?
