I am still in denial and refuse to accept it
It's just
Too early. Not right. He shouldn't have died. I can't believe it's happened. There are no words for it.

Yes there are:
Fuck you God, fuck you...
:unsmith:
Indeed. Listening to his voice is just plain depressing me. But he is so damn great, he deserves it. Holy Diver was, is, a masterpiece.

Man I wonder how my stepdad's going to react when he learns Dio's dead

Country Girl - Black Sabbath
Honestly, one of my favorites. An amazing voice complimented by an amazing riff.

Oh what's becoming of these puns
RIP Dio we'll all see you in Valhalla
Also, we'll have to sit by as the remaining members of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath die in the not-so-distant future. The beginning of Heavy Metal will have passed on and left us in a world of disney pop...
But those of us in the current generation who listen to real music will know that we lived in a time of legends, when the old gods of metal walked the earth. And that's something later generations won't have, I'm happy with that at least.
That's really depressing, it kills me to think like this but it's inevitable. At least we walked the earth when the legends did, that counts for something I suppose. I hope that in future people will remember these legends and create heavy metal bands that are as great as they come. I just can't imagine a future of fucking disney pop.
It's just now hit me that all the founders of metal are starting to fall. :ohdear:

Life will not be worth living if legends like Dio, Ozzy, Bruce Dickinson, are forgotten and people like Miley Cyrus go down in history
oh god oh god
There was a small article in the Daily Telegraph (is an Australian newspaper fyi) about Dio, pathetically small unfortunately... There was an identically sized article about a fucking money dying in the same newspaper, and that one had a picture! If miley cyrus broke her leg there'd be a whole page devoted to it every week until she healed, but a legend like Dio dies and he get's the same treatment as a monkey?
Here's what the article said, by the way:
"Singer Dio dies at 67
LOS ANGELES: Ronnie James Dio, whose soaring vocals, poetic lyrics and mythic tales of a neverending struggle between good and evil broke new ground in heavy metal, has died aged 67.
Dio, who was suffering from stomach cancer, rose to fame in 1975 as the first lead singer of the heavy metal band Rainbow.
He then replaced legendary vocalist Ozzy Osbourne in Black Sabbath in 1980 with the critically acclaimed album Heaven and Hell, considered one of the finest heavy metal albums of all time.
He also enjoyed a successful solo career under the name Dio."
I guess, despite it's size, it's kinda nice.
Dio got a mention on the CNN ticker the other day. It's sad that it was actually more than I expected.

Probably one of my favorites. The whole album is fucking righteous. Dio is fucking righteous.
He was not my favourite, but he was the best \m/
R.I.P Dio
Never really cared for him, so I guess I'm not particularly moved by his passing.

That's fine.
Go listen to your alternative music or techno or whatever.
This just made me think...How long is Ozzy going to last?
Its a damn crime of nature to have Dio. The god of metal (literally) die.

The hostility isn't really necessary, you know.

Dio was taken because of a disease, and Ozzy's 6 years younger. He's going to live for a good few more years, but knowing his health over his life, with all the drinking and drugs, I don't think he's going to live another 15 years. 10 if he's lucky. They're all dying :gonk:
And what about Lemmy of Motorhead, he's 64 now :c

Don't jinx it man. I want Lemmy to live.
My dad actually met Lemmy in a bar in England many years ago and shared some drinks with him. I was very jealous when he told me this.
Hahah, my dad used to see all the big bands like motorhead, sabbath, etc because he was around when they just toured like shit and he went to a concert at least once a week
lucky bastard, now we're lucky to get to go to 3 or 4 concerts a year

I was going to say that guy's comeback was pretty lame, but you're a pussy so it worked.
