I really don't mind it if kids had mics and were playing on the same server that I was on. I only mind it if they're retarded and they use the mics. They say that kids say the darndest things right? Well kids with mics say the most annoying things.

Take the guy's advice and use the mute button if you honestly can't handle it that badly.

Nah. Don't get me wrong, it's fun messing with them.
I taught my 6 year old brother how to play L4D2, and TF2. He imitates Nick and the Heavy all the time, and randomly plays Versus mode with real people who usually kick him.
EDIT: 666th post :tinfoil:
Young people shouldn't play violent games. Though the common argument "violent games make people violent" is bullshit with people that went through adolescence, for kids like that, it's highly influencing.
This, and they are also bad at playing these games. They are a handicap.
[editline]29th December 2010[/editline]
Once again, such small kids shouldn't even play these games. The parents must be huge morons.
why cant young people play violent games?

Steam Holiday sales?
They don't show how it starts up, (guessing the girl merely talking and trying to hold a conversation at her limited level annoyed these guys) but I'll have to hand it to her not to back down or cry over the abuse being thrown her way.
At first I thought the girl was the one recording the vid, and found terrible hilarity in the idea that she didn't understand the game and kept killing Louise for indoctrinated racist reasons. But now realizing SHE was Louise, I have to admire that she didn't cry her eyes out in frustration or something. Misguided? Yeah, but mainly innocent.
Still, it's one thing to let your kid play something like this (a stretch, but such is the age we live in) but why give the girl a mic? What good could it POSSIBLY have served? The girl is going to drown in and be exposed to the abuse, immaturity and anger of certain online players that either way are going to be her intellectual superior. This territory is unrated, and I wouldn't be surprised if anybody messed with the kid or said horrible to her. She's at the mercy of the patience and the conscience of the random-ass-guy at the other end of that connection. It's just a bad scene.
I started laughing so hard when he started mimicking her.
"UH DU DU DU DUH, UH DU DU...Yeah that's all I can hear."
Creepy enough as is, I ran into this person before.
what a terrible mom
I'm 12, And I'm a boy. But I don't spam the microphone every second and call my mom whenever a man talks to me like that, I just make friends and laugh if they kill me.

I don't think you were using a mic back then. If you were you probably were doing it right.
Microphones were way more rarely used at the time by young people because we didn't care about talking to other people, we cared about fucking shit up and just going ahead.
And to be honest I think that woman puts her daughter in front on a video game so she can get her something to do without having to participate or caring at all.
About the video itself, the other guy isn't as funny as other griefers or trollers or whatever. His voice really looks like the one of an early teenager, he doesn't have any good comeback and actually doesn't make fun of the girl, he just shouts her to shut it up.
If she didn't have a mic, the guy would have thought the girl was 18 or older. The mic just makes things worse.

I think he wouldn't have even known she is a girl at all.
Well, either way, it would have been much better for the girl.

Let's have some optimism and hope she and her mother will take a hint about this and actually start caring about what she's playing and with who.
I wonder if her mum's gonna backtrace him...

No, she already knows all the youtube people so she won't have to call the cyberpolice.

Also the girl might be related to the Holla Holla Get Dollas kid...
Spooky thoughts, right?
