Spartan an idea for a heavy would be a guy holding a machine gun turret, you could also put that on a pelican.I think the pelican is alot better now.
I like the newer version a lot better, it looks less blocky and angled and more of that smooth but still rough look the it has. I'm also quite pleased with the fact that it's closed to the pelican from the [i]real[/i] Halo, but I'd also put some more detail into it rather than having just the sides being large boxes.
Lemme find an example.

Here, have some points that would make it look a lot better, in addition to what I said before.
1. Try to make it look more like it actually has a wing, rather than it looking like there's a box hanging off the side of the pelican.
2. The wing engine looks a bit too short on yours, it's not a big dea;, but it makes it look more like it's from Halo.
3. Try to focus on some details, the wing ones are only an example, but little lines and boxed that do nothing go a long ways to help it look better.
4. I noticed that your tail engines/thrusters/whatever look way too small, make them more pronounced and look like they have a job and can do it.
