Why do the textures look worse than Sims 3?
Why do the textures look worse than Sims 3?
I want to say its because of the art style of it. Or maybe the video quality, not sure but it looks more like Sims 2 than 3. Which isn't a bad thing, necessarily.
I can't stand EA trailers at all ... They're so fucking horribly scripted it hurts
Watched this a few days ago, I hate how they keep saying 'bro'
They BOTH died of laughter? Shouldn't dying spontaneously be a rare occurrence? Kind of sucks if all my sims are going to be dying for stupid reasons.

don't you wanna be a bro in a bro house with bro people broing it up with a broday?
[sp]bro[/sp]
I'm still not buying it because EA's pretty much "we'll give you half the game for the price of a full game, and you'll need to buy DLCs to make it complete!"
According to PCGamer they're also implementing a "Premium" service, much like Battlefield. Which will give you 'early access' to 3 DLCs. (Spooky dance party, the great outdoors, and New Years party)

It was probably staged though. I wouldn't start worrying about it if i were you.
So, traveling between lots, the sims teleport everywhere? Any word on vehicles or what?
no vehicles anymore, just teleporting
So it's like the teleporter item, but without any of the satisfaction of earning it?

They've confirmed that both the fire and them both dying of laughter were purposefully scripted to show it off.

Great outdoors will feature pools.
Calling it now.
I hate the placement of the new UI. I had to search for a minute where the interaction queue is.
Not to fond of the UI, and I'm hoping the whole pool fiasco is just going to be solved by adding it in later (like they did with features in TS3)...
But honestly, it looks good. I'm hopeful.
"I found this music room."
But... it said the music room was uploaded/created by you.

EA makes amazing scripts for it's videos

Surival Ops Premium Pack
Featuring ladders.
No cars? wtfffff
Wow it's restricted to lots again, no open-world? That is such a step down.
There doesn't look like there's any reason to play this over Sims 3.
Wow it's restricted to lots again, no open-world? That is such a step down.
Oh, hmm, didn't catch that. Yeah that sucks dicks.
Wow it's restricted to lots again, no open-world? That is such a step down.
The thing is there was absolutely nothing to do between lots other than to run/drive/take a cab to other lots.

There were collectables and resources.
And being able to go from your home to you next door neighbor's house without a bullshit loading screen is great.
There's no good reason to change away from the open world.
The town is split up into neighbourhoods each containing a few lots. You can go anywhere in your neighbourhood without loading, but going to another part of the town requires a load.
So you can go next door without a load, but not town centre for example
god, I hope they change the UI.
otherwise, I am hyped.

Which is still a real downgrade...

"We had to build a new engine from the ground up!!!!!"

Sims 3 is full of memory leaks and optimization issues. If they do better here then there might be a reason to get it.

Also what was the point of making this it's literally just Sims 3 as far as I can tell
oh fuck off EA...
