I dunno, this is a really huge issue with many layers to it. Crazy christians and crazy muslims are the only ones you hear about, but you might know some normal christians in real life, so therefore your thoughts immediately go to muslims are all crazy. How often do you hear about a normal muslim/muslim community NOT doing violent shit? Very very rarely. Because sane christians are everyday things and you might know them and all you see in the news is "islam this, muslim that" you are predisposed to think that "muslim blew up people, therefore all muslims must want to because I don't know any that are normal". Do not jump on the bandwagon unless you have been to a predominantly arab/islam country and have experienced their culture firsthand, instead of "their" (what the media paints as their picture) culture you see in the headlines.

I do agree with you, as it's easy to point the finger, but it's remarkable that every country has to deal with this same issue. This one stands out though because it was a lecture on freedom of speech, and as soon as these people get the chance, they start chanting and shouting their beliefs. It's as if they were just hoping for it to happen. It's also funny how they don't realize their own hipocrisy;

sure, it's a free speech lecture, but you can expect those reactions. It's like showing a jewish crowd how they find Hitler a great person. They might not react so heavily, but I'm they will not approve it and will either leave or just stop it (physically).

Also, I happen to think it's funny that the lecture was on Free Speech and they had a problem with the content. You Europeans really like to "insult" (we really don't take offense) us by saying we have a n***** as a president (Racism is so 50's-60's), but at least we aren't being over-run by Muslims who impose on others Freedom of Speech or Religion, but at the first sign of criticism on Islamic beliefs, they bring it up in their own defense.
