i broke my monitor when i was playing zombie panic source when i was younger i replayed it recently and i dont know why i played it to the point of rage all those years ago it was a really shitty game
I do not understand this. Most I get is a little mad but to the point where I start smashing stuff up or screaming my head off? If I ever got to that point, I'd probs uninstall Windows.
I usually end up being very salty in online games that I play for a bit. but I have learned that at that point when I have first scream that it is time to stop and do something else
The guy in the OP started up a patreon specifically to pay for a new keyboard. He's literally begging people to give him money.
I will literally do whatever you ask me within reason. Want me to sing the Soviet anthem while wearing an Uschanka and playing Civ?`Done. Want me to pretend to be a samurai and suffer through untranslated shit? Done. I have no standards
I think it's less about the games themselves and more about people not knowing any way to handle frustration other than getting physically violent, likely because that is what they learned from their parents and environment growing up. Like, road rage is the same thing, and that has nothing to do with videogames. [editline]7th October 2015[/editline]
i start crying when I get mad at videogames.
Nothing wrong with that bro [img]https://facepunch.com/fp/ratings/heart.png[/img]
Yeah it's really weird, I knew one guy who was perfectly reasonable in 99% of life, but when he was doing bad in a video game, or just not doing AS WELL as he'd like, like if we're playing on a team in Smash Bros and I knocked out somebody he wanted to knocked out, he'd just lose it. One time he threw my wireless gamecube controller down on the hard tile floor of my dorm, and after that the Z button would never work. Not only that, but he never owned up to it, couldn't believe I would suggest he pay to replace it, and I ended up buying a new one myself. I didn't let him play any of my video games after that.

You know what game always got me Fuckin' Gears of War man, every single one except Judgment because it was garbage

I don't know how people still stay mad after that initial outburst. My anger dissipates as fast as it comes out when it comes to video games. although when microsoft word isn't formatting properly, that's when I lose it
not super rage but i like this one. those caterpies man
when I get mad in games I just give myself a thump on the leg and continue.

It was the idea that they were really smug to themselves too, behind their screens thinking they had just pulled off the best kill in the game, when all they REALLY did, was look up the easiest of ways to win the game, without even seriously trying. I despise it when I feel I'm the only one that legit tries with a class like Soldier, and getting weapons, and reading strategies to try new things, only to get killed by the same cheap tricks that everyone uses to win. In Hearthstone, it's Face hunter and Grim Patron Warrior.

I don't believe any other genre except fighting games possess the true potential for people to get super angry. I literally don't get mad at any other game, but fighting games really builds that salt up inside sometimes because either you did something really stupid or you just purely don't have enough matchup experience against other stupid people. But it's always your fault if you lose. It takes a person with great mental fortitude to never get mad at fighting games, but when some people get salty they get REAL salty and lose control of their words and logical thought processes. I've been there. Usually after the rage session I feel really bad afterwards because I know I looked like a child but I couldn't help myself in the moment, I needed some sort of quick outlet. It's like I became a completely different person. I don't think I have ever been DSP levels of whiney though, I just yell the worst combination of offensive words I can think of and feel lots of self hatred for losing to stupid shit. If it's really bad maybe a pound on the table. One time it was extra bad and I threw my stick. But I mean that only happens during the months of when I start to feel depressed, so it's not even a good idea to play SF anyways during those times.
Me; I got mad at my friend when we were playing Fighting Force. I took out the CD and lobbed it at my buddy... It got lodged in his forearm.
It always seems like this occurs most in MOBAs. I'm convinced the whole genre is made the make people saltier than goddamn peanuts. I have a friend who is the most chill dude imaginable. Doesn't really lose his shit, and even when he does get mad he just expresses mild frustration and moves on. He started playing Smite, and he would rage so fucking hard it was unbelievable. I'm not trying to sound arrogant. I used to be the same way. I would rage so hard at online games when I was in middle school. One time, I got so mad at TF2 that my mom poured dish soap down my throat. My throat burned for the whole day and the next, and anything I ate tasted like shit. I nearly vomited a few times. It was a pretty fucked up reaction, even if I was being a little shit. Still, I got over it. I am an adult now, and I usually do a lot better at online games. Some games still piss me off if I am getting absolutely shit on, but most of the time I just don't care anymore. There is no point in getting worked up over something that is meant to be entertaining and cathartic. I do flip shit though when a games bugs out or crashes and I lose my progress. That shit is still inexcusable and annoying as hell. It makes the past few hours completely irrelevant.
This is me sometimes. Even the small things get me into a incoherent rage for no reason. It sucks.
I used to get mildly annoyed, but I have friends that get way 2 turnt at games. My brother and I have engaged in physical kombat over Soul Calibur and Mortal Combat. My cousin gets so mad at games. He screams, blames his teammates and the game for being bad just about any time he dies at any FPS. For me, Battlefield 3 was the game that made me take a step back and evaluate myself. I would get frustrated, never rage as I'm not that angry of a person. But once I just looked at myself in my computer chair thinking. "There could be no more insignificant thing on the face of the Earth than me having died at a videogame. The amount of inconsequentiality of my dying in a game is actually hilarious." Ever since that moment I've definitely had personal peace about it. :v:

I was stupid when I first started uni and got into professional lab reports, I never did the autosave feature. Now I've learnt from my mistakes, but yeah losing tonnes of work you've put hours of effort / research into is pretty much the one thing that'll send me from tense, concentrated student to wild man-beast who tears stuff up.

Typical dota game.
When I get mad my head flies up and my headphones almost go off.

I've raged a lot on Dota. Not to the point where I scream. I just got angry. I left Dota and I was a new and happy man.. Until I got into Rocket League. But is not the same thing. Sometimes we win, sometimes we lose. That's life, niggas.
