The LHC Will Never Work Because The Higgs Can Manipulate Time

I call bullshit. If it can manipulate time, then research it more and get the time travel done.
what
:frogdowns:
title is misleading. It should be saying the LHC may never work

I think Scar Symmetry were on to something here.
(First thing that came to my mind :v:)
He's going down the collider.
So it terminates it self? And we will never even remember if it makes some sort of epic explosion... :frown:
Exactly, it's a theory, not fact.
Actually a hypothesis.
Theory means a mathematical formalism/idea which has experimental evidence.
Hypothesis means a mathematical formalism/idea with no experimental evidences.
So it terminates it self?
No. If this hypothesis is right, it just prevents the higgs-boson from forming. The collider will work as every other collider did before, and we will get new results from it. The Higgs-Mechanism is not the only thing it reseaches.

What do you make of this, aVoN? Bullshit or maybe not bullshit?
For the Higgs Boson to be able to do this, it would have to be a fifth-dimensional object, and possibly sentient.
Somehow I don't think it sabotaging its own creation is very likely.
well if we can't find it because it will fuck with time, how do we know it exists?
[editline]11:46PM[/editline]
sounds to me like they didn't find shit and are saying WE DISCOVERED IT, WE JUST COULDN'T GET IT BECAUSE IT DOESN'T EXIST.
:frog:
How does that make sense?
The LHC would function properly even if this was true.
The machine wouldn't just break to stop "higgs" from being created, the only thing that would happen is the higgs wouldn't be created.
It would not be created because something that can't exist does not exist.
IQ of 10 here, is it possible that it's not a time paradox and when the particle was created in the big bang, it's rippling from there and preventing more from being created?
Layman's terms: Is the particle from the big bang stopping this one being made?
Guys umm.
So let me get this straight, theists saying god is all knowing all seeing and all being everywhere all the time, and scientists saying that the "higgins particle" is everywhere and can manipulate time to its "will"
Seriously...
cmon its the same thing from two sights.
[editline]06:15PM[/editline]
just so you know, for every variable possible from concious descision to the wind is adding possibilities which each of it splitting into a different "dimension" but its not obvious but you are splitting into multiple "realities with different possiblities happening.
at least as far as I believe....
You suggest that a small group of scientists who make a THEORY that there could be a higgins particle is comparable to religion?
