Absolute awesome. Though this year has probably been the worst out of all of them.
Really? This has been my favourite year for several years.
Remember back when you thought shoes made you run faster? Fun huh? Running as fast as you could, thinking it was because of your brand new sneakers.
well i'll be damned, i thought i was the only one
I always looked around for pokémon. Once I swore I saw a Victreebel...
I used to pretend I was a dinosaur when I was little All the kids thought I was insane or something :v:
Playmobile
My childhood sucked. If I went into details, it would be all grimdark.
Playing on cousin's Mega Drive... Emulators aren't as awesome. :(
When i was a kid I had hot wheels. Making those epicly large cities. traffic jams awe man it was awesome.
lego and stuff was fucking awesome. I used to make forts out of it and put all my green plastic men on it and pretend its being attacked etc
LEGO,instead of running I really thought I had super powers/psychic powers and I had zero tolerance. I went berserk if someone pissed me off. Games never turned me into a social awkward person, I was that all along.
My nextdoor neighbor was a peeping tom that liked to look in my mom's window, I swear to god when she found out she beat the the guy like hell, most hilarious thing I've seen in my life. this was when I was like 7.
My childhood is in ruins thanks to the internet, maybe except for some things like Legos or Hotwheels.
I had this shitty old demo disk for computer I would play for hours on end, It was one with Coconut Monkey and there was this shitty 3-d video at the first where it pans to a skyscraper and goes to a shot of coconut monkey and a surly black man saying "Coconut monkey you one bad motherfu-" "SHUT YOUR MOUTH" That and the time my dad convinced me that a doughnut was called an enema and went to the coffee shop with my mom asking for a blueberry enema. Also Lego, N64, and top gun for the NES
One of the funnest, for me at least, was back in long car rides. Your favorite little cartoon or game hero, running alongside the car. Oh the fun it would be, watching it jump over obstacles coming in your path. Just watching them do impossible feats of acrobatics alongside your car, all for your entertainment. .
WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU? No... did you watch me when I was a kid or something? This was my secret game.... what the fuck, man. You actually just destroyed my childhood...
Nice post, I remember the box. Thanks for reminding me. <3
My secret box was full of army men and Tarzos, and a toy tank. A MOTHER. FUCKIN'. TANK Do you know how COOL that shit was when I was like 10-12? Really fuckin' cool, that's how cool
Me and my friends used to make rope swing when we were around 7 and we'd come back the next day and it would be gone :frown:
In my childhood i watched a lot of Tom & Jerry, and i still do :D Jezz furry infuence everywhere [editline]09:48AM[/editline]
I miss that show.
I remebember watching it when i was 6.
I remember when one of my Pokémon first got poisoned in Pokémon Red, that weird screen effect and sound made me think that there was something wrong with my Gameboy.
Or back when you liked to run everywhere. Remember back when you thought shoes made you run faster? Fun huh? Running as fast as you could, thinking it was because of your brand new sneakers.
This
My early memories consist of: visits from the police to my house after my mum took my cousin into foster care because he was being beaten, the electricity running out for 2 or 3 days at a time, buying cheap toys from pound shops and then dismantling them and combining the parts to create my own toys, spending hours and hours on the wasteland behind my estate playing man hunt and searching the junkyard for cool junk (Once i found a small plastic figure of Ryu from street fighter, but because at the time i'd never even heard of video games I had no-idea who it was) Playing around on construction sites and hunting rats on the train tracks with a pellet rifle . getting chased by the milkman for robbing those delicious bottles of orange juice and sitting in trees with a bottle of coffee and a good book. My family was poor, I had few friends, my favourite place was a scrapyard and i spent most of my time covered in mud, rust and oil. In short, it was grim but fucking awesome at the same time. One of the few toys that was actually bought for me was this And then one day the council decided they'd build a police station where the junkyard was :( Goodbye childhood Its strange thinking that ws nearly a decade ago :0 Feels like yesterday

I played this a lot on my dad's shitty computer back when I was young. Anyone know what this game's called? If not then find it and play it.
Remember your secret box? You know what I mean. That one box you had, full of tiny little toys and such that you cherished so much. Full of little misspelled "keep outs", you cherished this box so dearly. You loved this box more than anything else. Might've held your favorite plaything, your journal (or diary if your a lady :q:), or hell, anything. It was your box. Your personal space.
Holy shit
Or back when you liked to run everywhere. Remember back when you thought shoes made you run faster? Fun huh? Hiss tanks and Ninjas, fighting it out on my bedroom floor. (Coolio if you know what I'm talkin about)

My childhood's weird when it comes to Pokémon games. Despite being extremely young I was still playing them on a primitive GB emulator.
