This guy was fine until he said that Wolfenstein: TNO was a piece of shit game. For me it was one of the best games of 2014. All he had to argue was that "it wasn't the same as the old wolfenstein games"
This guy is an absolute shit tier reviewer, remember this? In case it isn't obvious, this was from a review of a game that was not Tribes.
and uh, why not? It's the same price that you'll buy it for when it comes out, and it's only 30 bucks for gods sake. its not some 60$ cod game.
I'll find it hard to play the game later when I'm already bored of half the content. It would be like a sandwich with stale bread, the fresh lunch meat is awesome but I just can't bring myself to eat the whole thing.
You realize that there isn't going to be much difference between the full release version and this current Early Access thing? Think about it, KF2 is an extremely simple game. 6 more classes, more guns and a few more maps won't really add much to this base experience you get from EA. I think that's a good thing.
Haha, yeah. I mean, when KF1 was becoming stagnant and Tripwire released an entire weapons pack that completely revolutionized the perk system and added entire new ways to play the game, it was the same experience as when I originally bought it. [editline]27th April 2015[/editline]
impatiently waiting for firebug
worst class
worst class
only if you don't know how to properly play the perk
I'll buy it when it's done
Not like tripwire is gonna go under and run out of dosh anytime soon, waiting, atleast until most of the planned content is in.
only if you don't know how to properly play the perk
The answer is to go off on your own so people don't steal all your kills. Not that this is an issue anymore, because XP and dosh is awarded by damage done rather than who gets a kill.
I like fucking around with it and blowing zombies continuously in the test map. Since there's going to be a progression wipe on release (and possibly a couple times during EA as well) I regularly try stupid shit, cheat around in single player and grind for levels to see what classes are worth at higher levels. Once the game is out for good I'll start playing it legit, for now it's basically one big sandbox.

Maybe I'm kind of insane but the constant explosion and spray of blood everywhere is satisfying enough to keep me interested during grinding. I would love to have an ingame sandbox mode where you can instantly pump up your level to 25 but just for the current game so you can still have normal progression on the side.
3 Maps 4 out of 10 Perks 4 purchasable weapons per class and two off-perk weapons currently. 1 out of 4 bosses. Progression Wipe on Retail Launch Zero ETA on anything scheduled except "Retail in some time 2015." Yeah, I can see why some people are holding off.
They're adding three more bosses? Where did you hear that?
They're adding three more bosses? Where did you hear that?
Well if you don't mind spoilerinos you could for example find "all trader voice lines" on youtube and listen them all through. Also there is picture of Patriarch on one of the monitors on biotic labs and really he isn't biggest surprise to come back.
They're adding three more bosses? Where did you hear that?
Patriarch is already confirmed and I'm sure I've seen devs talk about at least another boss.
Patriarch is already confirmed and I'm sure I've seen devs talk about at least another boss.
there are planned to be 4 bosses in total. Patriarch is 100% confirmed following the story from Killing Floor 1, the trader has had lines referencing the Matriarch and the 4th is a complete mystery.
