so a few days ago my family and I had gone to Friendly's to celebrate my mother's birthday (she loves Munchie Mania, an appetizer served there that gives samples of 4 separate appetizers the sell.), and we saw a couple of kids absolutely freaking out over the balloons in the restaurant. and that got me thinking: why the hell are balloons fun?
think about it: when we were kids, we LOVED balloons. they were the shit, the bee's knees, the simplest of all simple pleasures. some of us still love balloons to this very day. but our love for them is simply unexplainable. we can have hours of fun with a balloon in different ways, but in the end, we don't even know why we're doing it. it's just a floating ball. how the hell can a floating ball be THAT fun?
so I ask you, Facepunch, to help me figure out the mystery of why balloons are so fun. why?
