The way i see it: each side eggs each other on.
Even if the furries keep to them selves, some people go out of their ways to complain about something, like a furry convention. So people moan and bitch and berate the idiots who decide to try to defend themselves, which is only met with more bitching and moaning on both ends. It's a never ending .

TL;DR If you argue with a furry; you're an idiot/ If you're a furry don't argue with someone like the typical fp user who will ignore whatever you say.
There are some of those that, as soon as they meet you, tell you that they are a furry and what their fursona is and shit like that. Then there are the ones who actually do keep to themselves.
