Do what I did for things like this growing up, that is if you don't want to just say fuck you I'm not going.

If they are really serious about this it might not work, I never had to deal with religion.

Act like going to church is a chore, every week act like its more of a chore. If it worked like it did for me they will eventually just get sick of you and let you stay home.
