You aren't supposed to care about the fucking tests or who wins.
In my eyes the show isn't about fighting the other side, its about fucking shit up with weapons from two different armies.
I think most people are taking the show a little too seriously. I've seen every Deadliest Warrior and I agree on the odd testing parameters. Honestly, I don't think this show was intended to be as serious as, say, Mythbusters. I watch this just for fun to make silly bets with friends for some friendly competitive fun. I don't assume that whatever outcome appears on the show means that's 100% true.
It's on Spike afterall, not Discovery.
Being an American show has nothing to do with the outcomes (Spetznaz vs Green Berets: Spetz won despite stupid biases from both sides). I would like to see what my grandfather would have thought about that outcome since he was a Green Beret in Vietnam :v:

The GSG9 is a Counter Terrorism Unit, SWAT is just part of the Police force. Not biased at all haha, GSG9 would win any day.

If I was in a realistic battle situation like the battle at the end of the video, I'd sure as hell rather have some HE grenades than some stun grenades. If I'm trying to kill the other people, why the hell would I try to incapacitate them?
The show does seem to be somewhat fair at times- I mean at the end of the last series with [sp] Spetsnaz v Green Beret I was fully expecting them to lose especially after all but 1 guy was killed with 0 Berets deaths[/sp]
This is kind of a dumb comparison since every SWAT team operates in a different way on the local level.
Even though Im American, my bets have to go to GSG9, those guys are pretty badass.

I think it would be vastly more realistic. Doesn't the military train in CQC with paintball guns? I remember watching on the Discovery channel where some army guys breached a door and they used paintball guns against other guys in the training. It would be awesome if they both equipped GSG9 and SWAT with paintball guns, and have scenarios. There would be an abandoned mill or factory with cameras set up everywhere, and the GSG9 and SWAT are just told to eliminate the other team on the other side by shooting them with a paintball. It would be very interesting seeing them stick together and use tactics.

Shouldn't it be "Who is deadlier" rather than "Who is deadliest", as deadlier is a comparative, and the other one who only work if you said "Who is the deadliest."
