<3's for op, i hope it goes well, you can do loads of father and son things now :3:
TBH that's pretty cool to be coming from 3 homosexuals. Although you may not know your father, from waht you written, I think he would be pretty cool to meet.
what the fuck is oestrogen. some sort of oxygen and ostrich dna hybrid
It's what makes you a woman. :v:
How is it unacceptable? They were serious questions and you're taking offence to them like it was aimed at you. There's nothing wrong with those questions whatsoever. I'm not homophobic at all I was just curious. Was it really that inappropriate?
Saying "doesn't it bother you..." means that you think there's something wrong with it.
Source?
http://webspace.ship.edu/cgboer/sexualorientation.html
But homosexual men responded more like women, which suggests that homosexual men have a more "female" hypothalamus.
I'd wanna do it if that was the situation I was in, seems like it would be pretty cool, I wouldn't wanna go my whole life without meeting my father at least once, you know?
Saying "doesn't it bother you..." means that you think there's something wrong with it.
Since I'm not autistic I have the ability to think from the perspective of other people.
If your moms are going with you, that's a really good thing. That way you aren't off on your own with this man whom you've never met. As long as you feel comfortable with your parents, it will ease up the situation quite a bit. It seems like his intentions are sound, so you aren't in any danger. It really just boils down to whether or not you can stand the strangeness of it.
I'm not going to lie in saying that is really, really weird. But thats just my opinion. Is that even legal what your parents did?
Since I'm not autistic I have the ability to think from the perspective of other people.
But... im autistic and i have feelings :c Apparently, according to the disagree i don't have feelings, thanks asshole...
Since I'm not autistic I have the ability to think from the perspective of other people.
It obviously doesn't bother him. It shouldn't bother anybody. It is, in fact, absolutely fine. And what you said was, indeed, grossly inappropriate and reeking of bigotry, whether you intended it that way or not.
http://webspace.ship.edu/cgboer/sexualorientation.html
Pseudoscience.
http://webspace.ship.edu/cgboer/sexualorientation.html
1. Nowhere in that does it say that gays have more estrogen. 2. The only thing he says about estrogen is that gays respond to it in a manner that is more similar to females than straights do. 3. He's a professor in psychology, not biology or biochemistry. 4. Not a peer reviewed scientific paper, nor are there any links to any. [editline]28th April 2011[/editline]
Since I'm not autistic I have the ability to think from the perspective of other people.
Why would it bother you? Why should it bother anyone?
I'm not going to waste hours googling for a paper to prove it. It's a general trend I got told about ages ago.
Which has been since rejected by the scientific community.
Do what you want to do. Whatever makes you feel better. This man is at the end of the day, Only your biological father. He hasn't been your dad. So whatever you decide is best for you, is what should be most important. Best of luck with your decision. And i hope all works out well for you and your family :)
Which has been since rejected by the scientific community.
It's common knowledge..
I'm not going to waste hours googling for a paper to prove it. It's a general trend I got told about ages ago.
You can't prove it because there's no science to back it up. Something you got told about ages ago is not a good source.
Which has been since rejected by the scientific community.
Have you got a source to prove that claim? See where i'm going with this - it's a pointless and endless circle of finding papers to disprove each other's points.
It's common knowledge..
That's bullshit. Just because you think it's common knowledge doesn't make it true. Show me some actual evidence or shut up.
facepunch discusses whether homosexual men are sissy boys, yet has never seen a homosexual man outside of pictures of gay pride festivals.
wow guys this guy is asking for help on an important life matter and you guys are arguing about oestrogen
Have you got a source to prove that claim? See where i'm going with this - it's a pointless and endless circle of finding papers to disprove each other's points.
Burden of proof is on you. You said gays have more oestrogen, we say no. [editline]28th April 2011[/editline]
wow guys this guy is asking for help on an important life matter and you guys are arguing about oestrogen
I've already said I think he should do it if he wants, and not because he feels like he should. What else should I say about it?
It's common knowledge..
Among the misguided, bigoted republican masses, perhaps.
wow guys this guy is asking for help on an important life matter and you guys are arguing about oestrogen
Assholes... Not you Xeno, im sure your a lovely person...
wow guys this guy is asking for help on an important life matter and you guys are arguing about oestrogen
To be honest I don't really care whether my blood is laced with oestrogen; but do carry on guys, I like science.
Among the misguided, bigoted republican masses, perhaps.
Maybe in the CONSERVATIVES...
wow guys this guy is asking for help on an important life matter and you guys are arguing about oestrogen
settling whether gay dudes are just vapid cunts in a man's body is very important you see, and only teenagers have the mental capabilities to solve it.
wow guys this guy is asking for help on an important life matter and you guys are arguing about oestrogen
I blame David Cameron.
