The question is not who won, it is who lost and how badly. And it would be Germany. Failures.

I don't get why US and UK argue and pick at each other

If you look up the rate of the Russian army building up you'd see that eventually the Germans would have lost, it would just have taken longer.

I remember reading somewhere that the reason the Russians did so well was because they had the home court advantage and the Germans were ill-prepared for the weather.

They didn't even get into the adjacent provinces. The closest strategic point they got to was Leningrad, they got within 23km of Leningrad. Also the Germans could have beaten Russia you're correct, but only with the most idealistic circumstances, with hindsight they could have won but with hindsight the Russians would have been much more prepared.

Britain managed to not be captured by Germany throughout the war, which allowed a jumping-off point for troops to launch into Europe. Canada manufactured over 1/3 of all the planes used in the war, trained most of the pilots, liberated Norway and helped significantly to liberate Italy, and also captured Juno beach. Russia basically covered the entire Eastern front themselves and pushed the Germans back by throwing 5 Russians at every German and hoping one survived long enough to kill him. The United States covered the Pacific Front, captured two beaches on D-Day, provided lots of financing and war materials the same as Canada. Obviously that isn't all that any of those countries did, but yeah everyone played a part etc.

Russians won Germany US/UK(Allies) won Japan I think it was most likely this way....

Germany would have never invaded America (or at least not for a very long time), Germany didn't have plans for World Domination, they had plans for Lebenstraum. The most they would have done was controlled most of Europe (which they already had) and Eurasia. The Americans won the Pacific Front obviously, and the Comintern won the European Front ultimately (of course with the help of the Allied Powers).

World War Two was won by the Axis, from the German Point of View, but History is written by the winners.
