Holy fuck it's like you reached into my mind and did a full psychological essay about me. I don't know what to rate you. [editline]12:24AM[/editline] Seriously dude you just fucking scared me.
I have ADHD myself, my mother worked in mental health and I also studied into psychology and mental sickness. It was lucky I even posted that because I got bored half way through and I accidental deleted it at one point.
Vasili, that thing reads like a Zodiac:
Positive Attributes: movers and shakers, exciting, energetic, aggressive (all assets in pursuits others are afraid to try). Can do well if self-employed
Wonder what's up with Virgos today.
ADD is lack of discipline. Drugs only make it worse, as it causes people to rely on it to control themselves. Anyone who thinks ADD is real can blow me.
k dr. loser leave the stupid statements to people who study this
Also to note that someone can both have traits from ADD and ADHD, not all people with these disorders have the same personalities. Though it is to be noted that people with these disorders automatically 'click' in some cases - such as two people with ADHD liking each other, a person with ADD and ADHD may find connecting is not exactly the same (due to one annoying the other).
I have ADD and I multi task just fine in fact I'm actually better than most other people I know. then again different symptoms for different people.
I appreciate the guy giving informatives to everyone.
I have ADD and I multi task just fine in fact I'm actually better than most other people I know. then again different symptoms for different people.
Certain strong points. You can have mild, medium or high case of ADD/ADHD. Depending on the level the worse the condition will be and the more traits you will follow, the big list I have shown are some of the traits people with these disorders can have. There are obviously more but I can't think of all of them at this moment (I mean it's fucking 5:35am). Also SGTNAPALM the best way to improve your handwriting is by eating good fatty acids, such examples would be good fish; cod specifically is full of fatty acids your brain needs. People with ADD/ADHD lack the fatty acids needed to give them enough brain power and thus things like handwriting can be horrible (mine is dreadful). I myself take omega fish oil tablets, this really improves my handwriting and concentration by a considerable amount and I would take it over Ritalin any day, it is moderately cheap and you don't need to go on a subscription to get some. The reason mainly for such a influx of people with ADD/ADHD nowadays is poor diagnosis, modern age diets at a young age and even genetics. Also fun fact; it is believed many hunters/soldiers suffered from ADHD because they had a lack of fear.
give him a camera, he'll post a million pictures of him doing nothing at all That's ADD, and that's how you cure it, give them a camera and let them be noticed, then let them get trolled by the internet and they'll never want to be noticed again, after everyone trolls him

There is to much of a nice touch attitude towards people with these disorders and frankly, we know we can get away with it so we will. The problem as I stated with mainly ADHD is - they don't care, they don't. Unless you scare the shit out of them or show them force like an animal they will not learn in normal parentale situations. My mother was a hippie, my father was a military man. I caused hell with my mum, but when my dad was around I kept in fucking line and did what I was told. But anyway your logic makes no sense, anyone would be intimated if that happened to them, 4chan for example just picks on random people they just don't like.
ITT: fucked up people think they represent
Guided I have 2 brothers with the conditions much worse than myself and having a lot of friends with said conditions I believe I can represent people with the disorders, yes Jew. Now go invest in a bank you whore.
Jew. Now go invest in a bank you whore.
You had something going for you before you said this. Now, what's wrong with Jews again?
Did you not know? The Jews secretly sell us Ritalin and control us as people with it. [sp]its friendly banter.[/sp]
I can take pills bigger than that without water. People think it's odd.
I think it's because of all the practice. Penis sucking practice.

God here we go again please understand the difference between ADD and ADHD [editline]06:25AM[/editline]
Ever heard of a placebo effect? You think the meds help you calm down, and in turn you do so. You become depended on them. Also they load those things with depressants that mellow you out just like pot would. The pills help you focus don't be a dipshit [editline]06:28AM[/editline]
Its called discipline, just because they have different ways of learning doesn't mean they can't learn. I don't know why, but this reminds me of when I was in primary school and you would get kids claiming to be colour blind. You'd ask them what colour a certain object is and they'd say a different colour everytime...
His symptoms sounds more like Alzheimers (I can't spell that), and if he had ADD he would have better grades. This will sound strange, but a high IG often equals problems with your brains.
dyslexia, add, etc are all bullshit i knew a girl who got top marks and she was diagnosed with dyslexia and ADD, she gots 25% extra writing time because of this, utter bullshit they should just get more reading time, cuz thats what they find difficult
Since, apparently, my other thread was a "Dumb thread" I apologize, for that, so let me try to be more clear. I'm having an argument with my friend who claims he has ADD and he wants Addarall to help him with his big struggle. The symptoms he states he has is: * Procrastinate * lose and forget things a lot *Difficulty concentrating during school * Forget instructions after given them. * Lose track of time * Impatient * easily frustrated * Inability to multi-task He also claimed that he has done the following; He someimtes watches TV and when the commerical comes on, he forget what hes watching. he sometimes during school when the teacher is teaching, he doesn't pay attention because he doesn't feel like doing the work he sometimes has troubles and forgets stuff after he studies them? I've known him for over 10 years, and he does None of these on a daily basis, and he doesn't do it drastically either. I ragely and strongly disagree with him on the basis that he believes he has ADD, because all of the reasons he states aren't that bad, and/or to him they do not apply in a drastic manner, and that I possibly have all of the same things he's mentioned, but worse, I'm more likely to have ADD then he is, and I know I don't have it. He gets B and C grades, I get C and Ds Would you actually believe that he has ADD, or do you believe that he is making excuses because he is to lazy and ignorant to actually pay attention. I for one refuse to believe that he, and for a fact, the majority of people who claim they have ADD, actually have it - now I'm not saying ADD isn't real, but majority of the times, It is Over stepped and diagnosed to normal people. If there are any questions, or missing information to tell weather or not someone truly has ADD, please share. ( Questions I should ask him ) I also asked him If he is able to pay attention and concentrate on things in general for longer than 15 minutes, He says no. but in fact he's able to play video games for hours straight, able to hold long discussable/debatable topics. and he is able to watch TV shows for 4 hours straight.
* Procrastinate - I will explain this one later * lose and forget things a lot - Your friend is a loser *Difficulty concentrating during school - His parents just didn't hit him enough and tell him to get his shit together. If he is in high school, he is almost an adult. Go whine like a bitch at him and tell him to act his own age, and stop trying to blame the fact that he is a fucking dumbass on the principle of 'going easy on him' because of his mental handicap. * Forget instructions after given them. -.- * Lose track of time - Okay this is ridiculous. He thinks he has a mental disability because he loses track of time? That is natural, what an idiot. * Impatient - Needs to get hit more * easily frustrated - Needs to get hit more * Inability to multi-task - Needs to get hit in a rhythm, or find some Mayan to sneak up behind him and play his head like a bongo.
dyslexia, add, etc are all bullshit
Thank you.
ADD is lack of discipline. Drugs only make it worse, as it causes people to rely on it to control themselves. Anyone who thinks ADD is real can blow me.
Of-course it is discipline. Thats also the whole reason that I got bad grades and barely got my diploma from my last school. And it isn't the fucking reason that I weren't allowed into the next school. And use some facts to disprove ADD and not the baseless shit you are puking out. And It is a total fucking joke that my doctor diagnosed me with:
Procrastination, inability to begin an activity Difficulties completing household chores Failing to pay close attention to details or making careless mistakes when doing schoolwork or other activities Trouble keeping attention focused during play or tasks Appearing not to listen when spoken to (often being accused of "daydreaming") Failing to follow instructions or finish tasks Avoiding tasks that require a high amount of mental effort and organization, such as school projects Excessive distractibility Having trouble finishing projects that have already been started Often having difficulty organizing for the completion of tasks Avoiding or delaying in starting projects that require a lot of thought Disorganized personal items (sometimes old and useless to the individual) causing excessive "clutter" (in the home, car, etc) Often distracted by activity or noise Often having problems remembering appointments or obligations, or inconveniently changing plans on a regular basis

His symptoms sounds more like Alzheimers (I can't spell that), and if he had ADD he would have better grades. This will sound strange, but a high IG often equals problems with your brains.
As I said, the symtpoms he listed - he doesn't even do drastically. Remembering this, he forgets things that also everyone else forgets, He has a good memory - He is able to remember things short term and long term with Video games,TV Shows, Music, News, English, and history, but when it comes to Math, he says he has it, and he doesn't even do bad in math - he doesn't try at all. All last year he would just copy people next to him and he says he can't do it - The fucker doesn't try.
Are you actively working? Paying attention in class? Getting A's? Being nice and friendly? You got *insert name here* disorder. Take these pills and you will be fine.
Einstein was dyslexic, having these disorders does not make you stupid you ignorant idiot.
Yeah, I hate ignorant people who can't look at something from two sides. I know it sounds like it's all bullshit, but that's because it's overdiagnosed. If your friend was faking or just dumb, he wouldn't be asking for medicine. I had aspergers until I was 15 years, I have slowly grown it off, but I wouldn't werent it for my friend. She let me be with her, and I'd walk with her at school, she asked me how I was, and slowly regained my self considence, a day without her was a day without sunshine. Although I'm now somewhat sexually confused, it's better than still having aspergers, as the goverment thinks too proffessional and a friend is a lot more help. Stop being a jerk to your friend, if he actually has problems, help him.

And no, anyone who dismisses something without even looking into it or even reading this thread I will call ignorant idiots, how can you just reject something like that dyslexia/ADHD/ADD so I will frankly not bother to look at his point because I'm sure he is not willing to look at mine. Dyslexia is more than just reading problems. Also, what friend have I been a jerk too?
